"Hey Dad, I'm home!" I yell as I walk through the front doors of my brother's workshop. I work here in the summer and on the weekends to help out because he has cancer which makes him paralyzed. My dad usually helps out here too, but since he broke his arm, I have to come here after school also. My dad walks in and sits down on a bench slowly, I can tell by the way he moves he is hiding something.
"What's wrong?"
"Josh, It's about your brother..... he um.." He presses his lips together and starts to sob. I reach my arms out to comfort him, I have never seen my dad cry before.
"He... *sob* he.... *gulp* he passed away *wipes his tears* about an hour ago."
My heart sinks, and I can't help but to cry with him.
