Tower: *displays fireworks*
Guardian: *sighs happily* With my awesome new hand cannon, this new year is gonna start off great!
Several Days Later
Guardian: FEAR ME, FEEBLE GUARDIANS!!!
Guardian: *shoots at a Warlock with their Thorn*
Warlock: *hardly takes damage*
Guardian: What the-?
Guardian: What's wrong with this thing??
Warlock: Didn't you hear? A ton of weapons got nerfed at the beginning of the New Year.
Guardian: You mean I went through all that work finding it for nothing?!
Warlock: *shrugs and kills Guardian with updated Thorn*
