i know how she feels
my mom
how scared
it is
i know now
how terrifying it can be
heart-shattering
earth-shaking
fear
feeling sick to your stomach
knowing that someone as beautiful as that
could ever feel so unwanted
and unloved
that they'd want to take their own life
i know so many
and i never want anyone
anyone
to ever feel that way
like they're not worth anything
that fear
is the scariest thing i've ever felt
like i might wake up
and your bit of sunshine will be gone
forever
because death is forever
and that's the scariest thing
in the world
i know sometimes
you want to be gone forever
think to yourself
do you have a friend that's tried?
wants to try?
how do you feel when
you remember that?
sick?
sad?
horrified that someone so perfect
could ever
ever
want to take their own life?
so before you act
think
what if this was my best friend?
think to how you feel when
you find out
that someone doesn't want to live
anymore.
