Jac and Zosia's relationship has had more than its fair share of problems and they've remained strong throughout them, but is it all getting too much? Things get out of control, wreaking havoc in their love but are they strong enough to stick togeth...
The blood was still flowing and so Serena made the decision that they would have to remove all the glass as fast as possible, whilst the artery bled, so they could stitch it. Ric began removing the fragments and Serena pulled out the swabs. She grabbed the needle and began stitching the artery ends together. Thankfully it stopped the bleed and they cleaned up around the fixed artery before Ric stitched the gash in Jac's foot back together, with perfect little stitches. They cleaned up around the neat closing and wheeled Jac back out of theatre. It was extremely lucky that she was alive, just 10 seconds longer with her artery bleeding could have been the end of the great Jac Naylor.
Serena sent Morven to find Zosia, as she knew that they'd want to see each other. Morven scurried off in the direction of the gardens and eventually came across Zosia sat in the peace garden, muttering to herself. As the frizzy haired junior doctor got closer she made out the words. 'She's just too proud to admit she's human. And then this happens. I just can't believe her sometimes you know, you always understood too Arthur. You where human, and you admitted it.' Morven let a stray tear roll down her cheek when she realised who Zosia was talking too. The brunette had her back too her and was staring at Arthur's memorial plaque. "Hey." Morven spoke, making Zosia jump,"sorry! Umm, just came too tell you that Jac will be waking up in a few minutes. You can go and see her if you like." Zosia just nodded an turned back to Arthur's plaque whispering goodbye before she got up and walked past Morven, back to AAU. Morven followed behind, wondering about what Zosia had been saying. "Zosia!" She caught the young woman's attention, "I ... er... I think you should just tell Jac. About, um, how she's too proud. Maybe then she'll realise? And it will be better?...." Morven trailed of, noticing the glare Zosia gave her. "You heard?" The brunette practically snarled at her, accusingly. Morven shuffled about uncomfortably, "yeah, I... er, just talk to her okay?" "It's not okay!" Zosia spun on her heels and marched back into the hospital. Morven hurried after her, "Zosia! Sorry I..." She was cut off by a door being slammed in her face by said woman. She stopped and turned, if Zosia wanted to be like that, then fine. But it wasn't going to put her in a bad mood. She grabbed a brownie in pulses and found Dom at one of the tables. She sat down with him and they shared his magazine, laughing at the 'which movie are you?' quiz.
Zosia stormed into Jac's side room. The redhead was already awake and she greeted her with a smile, before seeing the anger in Zosia's face. "What's wrong Zosh?" She questioned sitting up in her clinically white bed. Zosia folded her arms, "you." Jac looked confused, "me? What about me?" Zosia stared at her. "Yes you! And what about you? Oh maybe just the fact that you're too proud to admit that your human, admit that you're in pain! Anyone else would have checks their foot straight away if it was hurting that much! Not wait until it got completely unbearable and they needed surgery! What is wrong with you?! You could just have asked me to look at your foot, and it probably wouldn't have been so bad! But no you had to carry on pretending that you're the mighty Jac Naylor and you don't bloody feel pain! Then look at what happened! Just think! Ever considered acting like a normal human being? No? Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you are a human! So get over yourself!" Zosia screamed, letting the anger out. Not all of it was because of Jac. She'd just been stressed out with everything recently and this was just the cherry on top. Jac looked at her in shock, "I'm sorry. I won't do it again! I'll ask you to check next time! Please!" Jac tried to bargain with Zosia, who looked a lot more calm. But her look was apparently deceiving as she turned and walked out the room, slamming the door behind her. Jac sighed, she knew Zosia would come back soon, at most a few days. She had a short temper and work had been pretty stressful recently, this would just have been the final straw. Jac called Serena into her room and asked her to wake her if Zosia came back. Serena nodded and said, "you'd best get some sleep now, if you want to be on your feet asap!" Jac lay back as Serena walked out of the room. She switched of the lamp and lay on her side. The painkillers made her drowsy and she soon fell asleep. •••
Across town, in one of the many cheap bars, Zosia was sat on a fake leather barstool downing her 5th shot of tequila. She was a little tipsy and as she got off her stool she tripped slightly and was held up by a reasonably good looking man, with blonde hair and green eyes. She got chatting an eventually, after a lot more shots they headed out of the bar to a taxi. The man gave his address and they giggled away in the back as the driver took the through the streets. They got to the guys house and he got out of the taxi speedily, so Zosia had to pay. She did so and then followed him up his pathway. Half way along she passed out from the alcohol and her grabbed her arm, pulling her along. The red painted door slammed behind them as he dragged her into his flat with him. Nobody saw anything.
