PrologueOkay, nailed that quad. And now... With unwavering confidence, the nineteen year old figure skater pressed herself off of the ice, spinning gracefully in the air. Double Salchow! The blonde cheered in her head as she nailed the following jump. Perfectly timed with the music.
Mikaela Lewis, winner of countless gold, silver and bronze medals in countless of competitions around the world. And that achieved in the past four years of her skating career. The nineteen year old girl had blonde, short hair, and blue eyes, along with a pale complexion and rosy colored lips. And as one watches her skate, you can see how much passion she puts into this sport.
One, two, aaaaaand...jump! The blonde smiled successfully to herself as she landed the triple Lutz, followed by a triple Toe. In a few tacts, the song would be at its end, along with this program she had planned to compete with in the next upcoming competition — whichever that was. She didn't bother. She'd use this one to compete at anything. She'd been working on this choreography for many weeks now and finally came to perfect it.
Then she started her ending. Flying camel into the basic spin. And then from a layback spin into the Bielmann spin. Spinning and spinning. Mikaela remembered how dizzy she got when she was first spinning at her first practice. Slowly she descended her leg and stood still, one arm raised high and the other followed halfway. The music stopped.
At first, the only thing to be heard, was her panting. Then she all of a sudden heard applause coming from the side and someone came onto the ice. Immediately, her head snapped into the direction of the person approaching and she noticed a silver haired man. He seemed slightly familiar, although she just couldn't point out who exactly he was.
"That was beautiful. Where did you learn to skate like that?" The man asked with a gentle smile. In return, Mikaela skated past him toward the perimeter and grabbed her water bottle from the other side. "Germany." She simply stated, while turning the music box off and stopping the playlist from going on.
"Germany! How come you are here now?" Same man asked and skated back towards her, the other guys who had followed just watching the scenery with raised eyebrows. "How come two Russians are here now?" She then simply retorted and raised an eyebrow, turning to the silver head and the other blonde. "Huh? Yo-" quickly, the silver head clamped his hand over the blondes mouth and smiled in an apologizing way.
"I'm sorry about him. Viktor Nikiforov. That's Yuri Plisetsky and Yuuri Katsuki." "I know who you are." Mikaela then replied and smirked a little. "Mika?" Yuuri suddenly asked. Named female nodded and grinned at the megane. The two of them had skyped a lot when he was away in Boston. They had gotten to know each other, after Mikaela ha heard of his mother at the Hot Spring place they owned, that her son also was a ice skater, so she immediately wanted to get in touch.
"Why did you cut your hair?" Yuuri asked her, astonished. They hadn't met in person yet. "I got bored of long hair, so I cut it." Mikaela said and shrugged. Then she turned to the Russians and said "Mikaela Lewis. Nice to meet you."
