I

With a deep sigh coming from the blondes lips, she watched Yuuri skate the choreography Viktor had assigned him to. This just wasn't Yuuri's type, even a blind person would notice.

Viktor had explained her the current events that had occurred without her even realizing, as she had been too caught up with her studies and her own skating. Hot Springs on Ice. Well if that isn't a mess that Yuuri's gotten himself into.

"Straighten your posture." Viktor heard the girl call from the side, while he watched Yuuri skate the program he had made for him. His gaze went over to the blonde shortly, but then focused back on the black haired male who tried to skate his program.

Surprising enough, Yuuri did what Mikaela had suggested for him to do. After he was done, Viktor said "Yuuri, I thought I was your coach." He pouted and looked over to the younger male, who frowned a little, before saying "Well, you were the one who denied to coach me beforehand and she's a friend, so..."

Mikaela snickered from the sidelines, before deciding to join them on the ice again. She skated over to the two males - Yuri had left earlier, went to train on his own, perhaps. "Yuu, what's important is that you keep a good posture. That can bring you in more technical points, than when you're skating around and look like a potato sack with skates on."

"You still need to learn how to motivate others, don't you?" Yuuri asked with a dejected expression and Mikaela laughed "Maybe. But you aren't the first to tell me that." "Mikaela, skate the program." Viktor all of a sudden interrupted the two.

Both of them turned to the silver haired male. One raised her eyebrow in scepticism, the other was confused. "Eh?" Was all that Mikaela could say. "Skate the program. I bet you've mesmerized it." Viktor then repeated.

Short silence hovered above them, until Mikaela then said "No." "But-" "No. I won't skate. I have other things to do by now." Viktor pouted and then sighed "Alright. But give me yo-" "Nope." By then, Mikaela was already off the ice and went to take her skates off, after having put her skate guards.

"Bu-" "You should be coaching Yuuri and not ask a girl for her number!" The blonde girl simply called, before the door closed behind her. Yuuri looked over to Viktor and asked "Did you really want to ask her for her number?" "It's not what you think! I just want to ask her about her skater past." Viktor quickly said, to which Yuuri slowly nodded.

"Anyways, skate the routine again!"

-

"You met Viktor Nikiforov?!" Mikaela laughed as she heard her best friends voice through the laptop. While it was about 10pm in Japan, it was about 12pm in Germany. Marie was her name. She had also actually wanted to join Mikaela in Japan at first, but then decided otherwise.

Mikaela had partially moved because she wanted to continue her skating career somewhere else than Germany, but also because of why most people move to foreign countries, because they wanted to see new cultures and whatnot.

"Yeah, I did. Remember Yuuri Katsuki? Viktor's coaching him now." "EH? THE Viktor Nikiforov is Yuuri's COACH?" Marie screeched and again Mika nodded, laughing. "Yeah, I was also a little confused, or rather surprised. And that Russian punk kid, Yuri Plisetsky, he's also here. They're having a competition. Hot Springs on Ice."

Marie stared at Mika with wide eyes and a wide mouth. "Oh my god. This isn't actually happening, is it? Tell me you just made that up to tease me!" "Nope, believe me, I'm telling the truth." Mika grinned at the black haired girl through the camera of her laptop, who looked like she was about to faint.

"No fricking way!" "Yes fricking way!" A short silence was present, as Marie tried to process, what her blonde best friend had just said. Then she all of a sudden said "Do you know what kind of career boost this could be for you? You're friends with Viktor Nikiforov! He's a damn legend! If it comes out, that the two of you are friends, you could come more into the spotlight!"

Before Marie could continue the small rant, Mikaela quickly said "Marie, I'm not friends with Viktor." Marie tilted her head to the side and frowned at Mikaela "But you did look up to him, didn't you? And now's the best chance to become friends wi-" "Marie, that was years ago. Now please drop it." Mika said with a sigh.

"Bu-" "Oh, is that Mika?" Another person came into view. Marie's older brother - by a year - Sean. He gave a peace sign and said "How's it going in Japan?" "It's going good. Anyways, I have to go now, I still need to study a bit." "Isn't it, like, wha-" "BYE!" Quickly Mikaela ended the call and shut her laptop.

Mikaela sighed and leaned back in her  seat. She did had quite adored Viktor when she was younger, but that was three or four years ago. That was over by now. She had other idols, like Tanja Szewczenko or Ashley Wagner.

With a sigh she then got up and threw herself onto her bed. "Oh if you only knew, Marie..." she mumbled to herself before slowly falling asleep.

-

It was unbelievably early in the morning. Yuko had given Mikaela a spare pair of keys to the ice rink months ago. She remembered the first few months, as soon as she'd have some money together, she'd rent the rink for a few hours. After seeing how eager she was, Yuko had decided to convince Mikaela of stopping to pay rents and being able to skate whenever she wanted when it's empty, even outside of work hours, knowing that Mikaela is a trustworthy person.

Mikaela had her phone stuffed securely into her pocket, her headphones on, the music playing. She was in the ice for about an hour now or such. She could see the sun rising. It should be around six am. She didn't care. As long as the boys weren't there, she wanted to use the time she had to skate.

Her percentage of landing a quadruple Salchow was low. She was best at triple, but somehow she hasn't often landed the quadruple one. But nevertheless, if she didn't try, she wouldn't get better. Her step sequence was coming to an end. Then she jumped, spinning gracefully in the air.

And she landed the qua- nope, it's a triple. She sighed, holding back a frustrated groan, but nevertheless continued to skate her routine. She had a few routines mashed together. She didn't even know anymore is she was working on her free or her short program.

Then she was spinning again. Spinning and spinning and spinning. Then she came to a sudden stop, ending along with the music, perfectly in tact. Breathing heavily, Mikaela skated to the side to grab her water bottle. She leaned against the railing, nearly emptying her bottle, before placing it back on the bench behind the railing.

The blonde took a deep breath and was about to skate off again, until she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. She let out a yelp and jumped away, landing on her butt. Looking up, she noticed Takeshi, Yuko's husband, laughing full heartedly at her reaction, while she let out a relieved sigh.

Getting to her feet, she pulled her headphones out and shot Takeshi a glare "Don't scare me like that!" He snickered "Why not, you were such an easy target. I actually was only on the search for those three, but when I saw you at the side, I just had to tease you." Only now Mikaela noticed the laughing triplets of Takeshi and Yuko.

"Why are you already up? It's only six..." Mikaela frowned, to which Takeshi said "It's 7:39am, Mika." At that, Mikaelas eyes widened. She's been here for almost three hours now! That's why her water bottle was almost empty. She hadn't even noticed the time run. "Oh..."

"You're as amazing as always, Mika-san!" One of the triplets said and the others agreed. Mika smiled at the girls and said "And you're as sweet as ever, girls. Hey Lutz, isn't it your turn to choose my music again?" Quickly Lutz nodded and grinned, to which Mika then said "Well then, I'll go get ready and you choose the music."

Every once in a while, Mikaela would let the triplets choose the music she should skate to and she would improvise to that. It's quite fun, she created two short programs through that. While she pulled her phone out and placed it in her bag, along with her headphones, the triplets went to the sound system to chose the music.

Mikaela skated to the middle and then waited for the music to start.
