Even though Viktor had kissed her — and nothing else had happened after that — Mikaela still didn't seem to get her jumps right, especially her quads. For that, whenever she saw Viktor and Yuuri together, they were awfully close, too close for her to believe that he loved her. It's been a few days since that kiss and they haven't talked since.

Mikaela headed to Russia a day earlier than Viktor and Yuuri did, as she wanted to get away from the two of them at least for the short time she had, get into a ice rink in Moscow and try to train there. Maybe there she'll be better. Who knows? All she knows is that she'll use the time she has without those two dorks.

Mikaela had first brought her bags to the hotel she'd be staying in, before she then headed to an ice rink a few miles away, as in the one for the Rostelecom Cup, they probably were already preparing everything there for the upcoming event.

After having paid a fee there, Mikaela sat down to put her skates on. She already had her headphones plugged in, along with the music already playing. Mikaela just hoped she'd get better during this training session of hers. With a small sigh, she got to her feet and headed inside. The rink wasn't that full, only three or four people were there. And guess who. Just guess WHO had to be there.

The Russian punk, his coach and some other woman. The fourth one was a total stranger, at first at least to Mikaela, and that girl didn't seem like she belonged to Yuri. She saw that they were speaking and even heard a bit of Yuri through her headphones — she just assumed that he was talking that loud. And they were talking Russian, which she couldn't quite or rather fully understand.

"Mikaela! Konfekta, why are you already here?" Oh how she hoped that that fourth person present hadn't been Aleksandrina. Mikaela only understood halfway what Aleksandrina said, but she also didn't even bother to pull out her headphones. Instead, she just plainly ignored her, along with Yuri, his coach and this other woman, while she pulled her skate guards off and placed them aside, before stepping onto the ice.

"Mikaaa, why are you ignoring me?" She felt someone's arms around her shoulders and a chin resting on her head. She just let out a sigh and mumbled "Leave me alone." Aleksandrina pulled her headphones out and said "Is it because of Viktor?" Mikaela froze.

"He's got nothing to do with this. Now let me try and practice at least a bit." Mikaela firmly said, plugging her headphones back in and shoving Aleksandrina off of her as 'polite' as she could. Then she skated off and tried to do her routine, without getting into the way of Yuri and Aleksandrina.

Mikaela tried to do her program as good as she could and it actually helped to be away from Viktor and Yuuri at the moment. She might have over rotated during a triple flip but otherwise she did quite good. She did nearly jump into Yuri once but they managed to skate past each other.

During the rest of the time for which she had payed to be able to skate, she continued to practice her jumps, combination jumps and her combination spins. Then, as sometime later the ice began to get fuller with others wanting to train, she left the rink, put her skate guards on and then went into the main area again to take her skates off. "Mikaela." She heard someone say behind her, suddenly, making her jump slightly. She took her headphones out and turned to the person.

There stood no other than Aleksandrina. "Wanna come look around the city with Yuri and I? It would be our honor to show you around, since I bet you've never been to explore Moscow before." The brunette woman grinned and had her arm resting on a — rather pissed looking — Yuri. "No we-" "Yes we do." She said and seemed to put more weight on her arm, making Yuri shrink a little.

"If you want to try and become friends, I'm not in the mood." Mikaela muttered, as she stored her skates in her bag, putting her normal shoes back on. "Oh come on konfekta, you need a friend right now. A lot of rumors have been going around, that you have a thing for Viktor, and that that's why you ran away when Viktor kissed piggy from Japan." Aleksandrina said and tilted her head a little.

Mikaela sighed and didn't look at her as she got to her feet. "We will be taking you out to see Moscow, no buts!" Aleksandrina then concluded and began to drag Mikaela and Yuri along. They both shared a look which said "Kill me".

The next morning, Mikaela awoke in a strange room. Then she remembered that Aleksandrina had brought Yuri and Mikaela to her place, after having accidentally given Yuri food which had contained alcohol. And accidentally a lot of it. With Aleksandrina, nothing was accidental. And since Yuri was 15 and Russians are allowed to drink at 18, they'd be screwed if they found out that he had consumed alcohol.

Yuri had to sleep on the couch over night, while Mikaela had to share the bed with Aleksandrina. Not that she minded. Aleksandrina was a quite attractive woman, about 6 feet tall with long, dark brown hair and green eyes. But even though this change had been good for her, today she'd have to face Viktor again. And Yuuri. She didn't know if her practice would be as good as yesterday.

Mikaela got up and decided to make breakfast for them — especially Yuri'd need it. She tried her best to get along with Aleksandrina's kitchen, as half of the description on things — of which she wasn't sure of what they exactly were — was in Russian. Well, at least she was capable to make eggs with bacon.

"Gooooood morning, konfekta." Aleksandrina said in a sing-sang voice, wrapping her arms around Mikaela and resting her chin on her shoulder. "I hope we won't be killed by Yakov." She then said and nodded towards a still sleeping Yuri, to which Mikaela quickly replied "It was you who gave him food with alcohol, not me!" Both of them chuckled.

"Should I wake him?" The brunette woman asked, to which Mikaela shrugged. "If I were him, I already would've awoken to the smell of food." The woman behind her snickered and then said "I'll wake him up." Then she headed over to Yuri and woke him up — by hitting him with a book.

"Oi! What was that about?!" Yuri growled and slowly sat up. "Good morning to you too, fairy." Mikaela said and placed their breakfast on the table, before continuing "Here you go. I've got to go now, too, so, if you won't show up to practice later on, I'll know that my food was horrible and you probably died of food poisoning."

"See ya later, konfekta!" Aleksandrina called, before Mikaela then was out the door.

"You like her." Yuri bluntly stated, making Aleksandrina choke on her food, before finding the ability to speak again "Okay, maybe I do. She's cute."

Two hours passed. Mikaela was practicing, Yuri and Aleksandrina had joined about half an hour ago, together with Yakov and that other woman, who Mikaela then found out to be Lilia Baranovskaya. Just as she performed her quad flip — or rather tried to perfect it some more — the doors opened, revealing Viktor and Yuuri, who oh so coincidentally had also come to this rink to train.

Mikaela ignored them as Viktor called for her, turning her music a little louder, while continuing to skate her program. A while later she then decided she could go ahead and try to perfect her combination jumps and spins. By now, she could perform nearly all of them perfectly, as if those mistakes during practice in Japan had never happened.

She was glad that, even though Viktor and Yuuri were now there, she still managed to skate her choreography nearly flawless like this. Again she nearly jumped into Yuri, this time Aleksandrina too, but every time they managed to get each other out of the way without anyone being hurt.

After about another hour, she finally decided to head to the side and take a sip of her drink. She took her headphones out, while she leaned against the railing, her water bottle in her hands. "Mikaela, why did you leave yesterday already?" She heard Viktor ask her with a pout.

"I have my reasons. I don't have to justify myself in front of you, Viktor." Mikaela simply stated, taking a sip of her water. Just as Viktor seemed about to reply, she heard someone else ask "Mikaela, do you have a coach at the moment?"

Confused, Mikaela turned to face Yakov, who had asked that question. "No, I don't, why do you ask?" She tilted her head a little. "But I thou-" Viktor began but was interrupted by Yakov "You've got a lot of potential. I think you know yourself that that program just now of yours hasn't been completely flawless." Mikaela raised an eyebrow and asked "What's your point?"

"When this is over, come to St. Petersburg with us and I'll become your coach."

[ what do you think of Yakov's sudden offer? Should she accept it or decline? If you'd tell me in the comments, I'd be really happy :)
