Magnus drove Pit to where Divot has supposedly been found. Pit was in the state of shock and paranoia. They found Divot but Dark was still out there. He gripped his passenger seat tightly and breathed heavily trying to calm down, but he was about to lose it.
The positive dirt was being removed exposing the negativity side of Pit's mind.
"Pit, please relax."
"How can I fucking relax, Mag?! I am going to face my fear and Dark hasn't returned home!"
"Do you want to get hospitalized, too?!"
And at that, Pit breathed quickly and his eyes stung. He looked out the window and it was getting very dark. He felt that the past few months of peace were short. This current situation was like a hit on the face with a concrete pole to Pit.
Painful and uncomfortable.
After a silent drive, Pit saw red and blue lights. Magnus parked himself and led Pit to get out of the car. Pit stood next to the car and Magnus walked up towards another cop, who began a small conversation that Pit did not want to get involved. Currently he was busy being worried for Dark. The fear was so huge the temptation to run back home was intense.
One of the cops screamed in a megaphone, making Pit jolt in surprise.
"THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING! THROW DOWN ANY WEAPONS IN HAND AND SHOW YOURSELF, HANDS IN THE AIR!!"
Pit looked the environment. It was a department 3-stories (floors) high, old and creepy looking. The whole place had a suburban look to it. Who could have lived there?
Pit walked up to Magnus and stood next to him. The cop resumed his call.
"I'LL GIVE YOU TEN SECONDS TO COME OUT! TEN... NINE... EIGHT...!"
Nothing.
"SEVEN... SIX... FIVE...!"
Nothing still.
"FOUR... THREE... TWO...!"
Legs emerged from the shadows, walking up slowly. The cops and even Magnus pointed their guns towards the guy. As he slowly walked towards them, Pit concentrated his vision towards him. Preparing to face his old friend once again...
When Divot showed up and his face...
Pit's world collapsed.
"D...D...Dark?!"
"...Pit?!"
Pit's body shook aggressively and his legs went jelly, making him kneel down.
