"You should resign." Seungcheol said as you entered the house.
"Mwo?!" You said almost mad at him.

You don't want to stop working this early. You don't want to be a burden to him. You don't want to lose this baby too, but you don't think you need to stop working at all. Areum is already behind the bars. Jinseok went to California and will be staying there for good. Wonwoo is back to being the real Wonwoo. No one can harm you and your baby now. There's no need to resign.

"No way. I want to work. Don't you know it's a great relief our boss let me keep my job after being missing for weeks?!" You explained to him.
"Fine. Fine. Then, just file maternity leave."
"Seungcheol, it's just my third month! And, Ms. Yoo said the baby is healthy!"
"I know. I know. I was there. I heard everything, ok? I'm just worried." He said impatiently as he let himself fall on the couch.
"Why? What are you so worried about?!"
"BECAUSE I DON'T TO LOSE MY CHILD AGAIN! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY WIFE AGAIN! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU OVER YOUR DEPRESSION! I'M SCARED! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!" He shouted.

You were speechless. You've seen him get mad before, but this is different. He isn't mad at you. He's mad because he's afraid.

"I...I missed you during the days you lock yourself in our room. You only go out to eat. You were with me, but I felt like I was alone. I wanted to tell you I'm around, that you can tell me your problems, but you were too lonely." He said almost whispering as he wept.
"Seungcheol," You walked to him and made him look at you.
"I'm scared, Y/N-ah. I don't want you to get sad again and think of leaving me. I need you." He said as you looked at each other.

He's crying. That kid cried. You remembered what Seungmin said again, and it made you smile a bit. You held his cheeks and wiped away his tears.

"Nae sarang, you won't lose me, ok? I won't leave you. You don't have to be afraid. I'm here. I'll always be here." You told him.

He tried hard not to but he ended up crying again. He wrapped his arms around your waist and cried against your tummy.

"Yah. Stop it now. Stop crying. Our baby would be sad if he hears you crying." You told him as you played with his hair.
"He's a he?" He asked you looking up at you again, no longer crying.
"Well, I don't know yet. Do you want a son or a daughter?"
"I want you." He said smiling.

The doorbell suddenly rang. Seungcheol immediately stood up and wiped his cheeks with tissue from the coffee table.

"I'll go check who it is. Stay here. When I come back, we'll celebrate, ok?" He said.
"Ne." You replied nodding while smiling.

You sat on the couch as you waited for him to return. You heard the door open.

"Oh! It's you! Long time no see!" You heard him say.
