Chapter 7: Dinner is served!

(Monday 9th March 2015)

It was clear as glass now that Zoe and I were in a different place because the houses were so different. They were alot bigger and more urban, comfortable, unlike the spooky and old-styled houses down in London. Chase had a front lawn and a little narrow path towards his front door.

Chase's mom greeted us when we walked into the kitchen and she insisted we call her mama Chase as everyone else does. 
"It's so good to finally meet you both, the guys talk so much about you, especially Pape and Dyl, I was beginning to think you girls were not real." Mama pape teased as she handed Kevin and Chase a stack of plates and cutlery. 
We laughed.
"Thank you again for letting us stay here Mama Chase" I replied putting my luggage down and helping her with the drinks to be put on the dining table.
"You girls will be staying in our guest room across the hall from Chase, Pape and Chase can you help the girls bring their luggages down?" Mama pape said while walking back into the kitchen.
I walked behind Pape down the stairs and text my parents saying that I had landed and was at the hotel already. I gave them Chase's number pretending it was the hotel. 

"Ive missed you girl" Pape said while putting the luggage down in the room and pulling me in for another long tight hug. 
"Ditto" I replied  wrapping my arms around him and stroking the back of his head gently.
"Y'all must be hungry" Chase interupted bringing in Zoe's luggage too.

Indeed we were. From the minute we walked into the Martin residence, I could smell the pasta and chicken already. We all went back upstairs and sat round the big family dining table. Dinner was served and we all tucked in, ladies first of course. Mama Chase made cheese and tomato pasta with grilled chicken and salad. NOM NOM NOM.

"Mama Chase makes the best pasta" Dylan said taking a big spoonful of pasta.
"I second that, you don't know how hungry I am." I added cutting up some chicken.
Kevin got up and brought in his specialty drink from the kitchen; Arnorld Palmer iced tea with pink lemonade.
We all engaged into conversation with eachother and Mama Chase would tell us stories of when the boys were just starting out and they would perform at school and small concerts.
Mama Chase then told us that she would be away fro the next few days to visit Chase's dads family and would be back early on Saturday, she would be leaving tonight around 1am to catch a 3am flight.

"If you girls need anything at all just let Kevin or Pape's moms know, they also want to have you girls over when you can this week." Mama Chase added while clearing up the table.
Zoe and I offered to do the dishes despite how tired we were getting because of the long flight. Mama Chase got the guys to go out and buy food for us all to last the rest of the week.
"When did they say our handcarry would come by again?" I asked Zoe while drying up the last of the plates.
"Within two days" Zoe replied drying her hands.

Zoe and I chilled in the front room for a while and played with chase's little siblings. They were so adorable and looked just like Chase. 
I checked my phone and their was a WA message from Pape

Justin Brown: Strawberry or Choc milk?
Me: Strawberry plssss!
Justin Brown: Alright london girl ;)

After a while Zoe and I headed down to our room to unpack and change into comfortable clothes. I changed into my green sleeping shorts and a grey baggy Tommy Hilfiger tee.
I jumped on our double bed and took out my phone to tweet: "Arrived in Ohio babyyyy"
I then plugged it in to charge.
