Round 2 Crew Vibes

Chapter 13: Past is past.

(Tuesday 10th March)

I slowly crept down the stairs that lead to the studio and could hear Kevin saying something to Pape.

"Dude, Lex didn't even reply" was all I heard before opening the door and Kevin got up.

Pape didn't even turn around. Kevin winked at me and walked towards the door.

"Y'all better sort this out." He said before closing the door behind him.

I didn't even know what to say, I was terrible at these sort of situations. Awkward turtle.

I just slowly walked towards Pape and sat next to him where Kevin had been sitting.

"Pape are you okay?" Was all I could say, I honestly didn't even know how to react.

"Lexyboo? I thought you guys don't talk anymore" Pape said staring up at the screen in front of him still fiddling around with the sound system.

"We don't, I already told you before, it was the first time hearing from him on our way here" I replied looking at Pape. He still wouldn't give me eye contact.

"So you were waiting for him to get back to you?" He said now looking down at his lap.

"It's not like that Justin (yeah I went there) you know what I mean" I replied nudging his arm.

He looked at me blankly then back at the screen. He didn't say anything. I hated this atmosphere.

"Pape, did I do something?" He shook his head.

"Then what's up? I know your'e angry." I said while taking his hand off the mouse and holding it in my lap. He didn't flinch  but his eyes narrowed at the screen.

"I just don't see why he has to message you at this time when you havn't spoken in so long." Pape said now looking me in the eyes. He looked hurt and it got to me.

"Neither do I to be honest. He probably saw the pictures I posted of us on twitter? You know how ex's are" 

"Whatever" Pape said pulling his hand away and plaing around on the mac again.

"Well, I don't know what to say to make you feel better but just know that I like YOU now and the past is past. I didn't reply because I didn't want to and I don't care to be honest, you shouldn't either." I said grabbing his hand again.

"Can I at least reply for you?" Pape said still not looking at me.

"Erm okay?" I said handing him and my phone intentively. I got confused.

"Oh look he's online" Pape said while typing something then handing me the phone.

"Now you can carry on talking to that douche" Pape said getting up and getting a drink from the mini fridge in the corner of the studio.

I got up. I didn't know what else to do.

"Alright Pape, I honestly don't know what more I can say to cheer you up. You come to me when you feel better." I said walking towards the door and opening it. Before I walekd out I ran to Pape and hugged him tight and kissed him lightly ont eh cheek.

"I'm sorry, whatever I did Justin." then I walked out. 

While walking back up to Chase's room, I looked at what Pape had said to Ethan and I laughed sarcastically. Pape had replied: Sorry who is this? I don't recognise the number

"funny boy" I mumbled to myself.

I walked into Chase's room and Kevin had joined them. 

They looked up and the room fell silent.
