Round 2 Crew Vibes

Chapter 20: I don't even know.

(Friday 13th March 2015) - EVENING.

It was now going on 7pm and I had just got off the phone to Mum who told me that I could stay over at Chase's for the rest of our stay due to the snow hazards. She was scared we would not be able to fly back in time and so she let me this time. Only this once she said on the phone.

I sat with my back on the sofa bottom as I was sitting knees up facing the TV, playing Mortal Combat with Chase. Pape was still in the studio editing his rap verses. He skyped Kevin who was helping him out becuase Chase wanted to take a break. He had worked himself too much in that studio that he just wanted to relax for a while.

"Youre getting better Miss" Chase stirred as he killed my character.

"Ughhh boys" I rolled my eyes.

After our 5th game, I got up to check on Pape.

"How's the hand boy?" I said sitting on his lap and staring at the screen.

"I can't feel it anymore" He said digging his chin into my shoulder and working away on the system.

"Tea or coffee guys?" Chase said sticking his head through the door.

"Can I have green tea please?" I said looking over Pape's shoulder and smiling up at him.

"Sure thing" Chase smiled.

"Me too please" Pape said looking back and winking at Chase.

"Alright boo" Chase winked back. I laughed.

I really needed to cleanse my system of all the junk food I had eaten these past days, I didn't really like the taste of green tea but I forced myself because I started to feel bloated.

I watched Pape work with his good hand and he played the song back a few times to hear his rap.

"Can you understand this bit?" Pape said confused while playing back the second verse.

I listened hard and could kind of point out the lyrics but he was right, it wasn't clear enough.

Pape got up and worked in the recording studio with headphones in looking at me while he rapped.

I had headphones in too and was recording his vocals through the mac. He told me to turn up the bass and things by dictating where on the system to unwind and click. It was all so fun.

Chase came in with our tea and he sat on the swingy chair and pulled it up next to me. He told me what to pull, click and unwind while Pape carried on doing his verses. He recorded about three times and I still wanted to hear more. Chase played the whole song from the beginning.

It sounded really mellow at first then it livened up. I sipped on my tea while Chase took over and started working his magic on the sound system. It really made me proud watching the guys just do their thing.

I took a pic from behind Chase as he worked with his head down and headphones in while Pape was inside the recording bit and I took the most perfect pic. Chase and Kevin later re-tweeted. Pape posted it on his insta. They carried on playing the song and I jumped up from next to Chase and started to sing along. The lyrics were now stuck in my head.

I got up and danced around waving my arms about and jumping, whipping  my hair back and forth. Chase got up too and started doing the dougie while Pape laughed at us in the studio.

"You don't know about this" Pape shouted still in the recording part and bent over, twerked on the wall and did a hand stand. Chase and I laughed as we continued dancing around. Pape stopped shortly because of his bad hand and I changed the cling film into a normal bandage, washing it againa nd applying more sudocreme.
