Chapter 19: Bad luck indeed.

(Friday 13th March 2015) - MORNING

I woke up to the sound of Chase singing in the shower and I got up to check my phone.

12 missed calls from Zoe. 4 missed calls from Dyl. 17 missed calls from Kev and 5 texts from Lydia.

I read Lydia's first message: EMERGENCY. SNOWSTORM hits Nashville. Call me or Zo when you get this x"

I jumped out of bed trying not to wake Pape who was still cradled into me and I opened the window curtains at the end of the room. The snow storm had hit us first. White glistening snow probably up to my knee covering the whole backyard. I looked up and it was still pouring down and I could hear the howl of the wind. Ouch.

I went back to the bed and woke up Pape by kissing his lips and biting his bottom lip. He opened his eyes quickly and bit me back.

"It's snowing outside babe, like major snowstorm alert." I said with big eyes smiling and pointing to the window. He got up slowly, stretched and walked over to the window.

"Oh dear." Pape said resting his palms on his flat hair.

"I don't think Dyl and Zoe can make it today" I said reading Lydia's next texts.

I called Zoe first and she answered after the second ring. It was only 8am but she sounded awake as ever when she picked up.

"Have you seen?" Zoe said energetically.

"I have" I replied smiling at Pape.

"Dyl's mum won't let us drive up there today, too dangerous she says" Zoe mumbled while chewing something.

"She's right" I replied getting back under the covers.

"It's way too risky, drive down tomorrow or when the snow starts to melt." I added lying back down.

Pape came under the covers too after closing the curtains. The whiteness of the sky already made me start to shiver.

It was agreed that Dyl and Zoe would drive up possibly tomorrow if the snow subsided.

I called Kevin next and he answered saying that his mum wanted him and Lydia to stay in today too as she wouldn't let him drive either. Eventhough he lived 10 mintues away by car.

"That's fine, Dyl and Zo aren't gonna make it today either" I said.

Kevin told us that his mum wanted us all over for dinner tonight but it would have to be postponed due to the weather hazard today. UGH. 

"Do you believe in friday the 13th and all that?" I asked while I hung up and picked up the remote to turn on the TV.

"Nah, do you?" Pape replied picking up his phone. 

"Me either, but today is just poop" I said switching between channels and finally settling for Friends re-runs. 

"True dat" Pape said while tweeting fans. 

People were still asking if Pape and I were an item. He handed me his phone at all the DMs. 

I took it from his and decided to tweet out to everyone. I said pretending to be Pape: Everyone keeps asking about Lexy and I. I'd say were just friends but then I'd be lying. Tbh I don't know myself right now but it's between me and her. I still love you crewmembers out there aye.

Stupid Tweet limit wouldnt let me put a heart emoji but oh wells. Hopefully people would get what I tried to put accross. I then favourited Pape's tweet and let him post one on my account. 

He said: Hey guys, about Pape and I, were trying to figure it out ourselves because yes, I like him. No questions there but right now I just need all your support because nothing's official rn. He loves you all the same because your'e the world to him. Never forget it.
