Chapter 10: Pancakes anyone? Ft. Mama Pape.

(Tuesday 10th March 2015)

*Phone vibrates*

I slowly sat up from the sofa, Pape was still sleeping and he was snoring softly, how cute.

I answered the phone and it was mum. Chase must have already been awake because he instantly forwarded her call to me.

"Hi mummy" I slurred.

"How are you love? Still sleeping? How's Ohio?" Mummy as always flooded me with non-stop questions without breathing.

"Woaaaah, mummy calm down, I'm fine, Zoe is fine, were still sleeping at the hotel." I replied untangling myself from Pape who slowly rolled over and I walked to the bathroom to wash my face.

Mum told me how they were back home and I told her how Zoe and I were doing, it was Tuesday so Teenhoot was supposedly the next day and Thursday.

After the phone call I brushed my teeth and sat laid back down on the sofa checking twitter and following back people, who were mostly Round2 crewmembers. 

I sat there for a few minutes reading people's comments and tweets, fans were still tweeting at Chase's picture, he was gonna pay when he checked his notifications later. I then put my phone down to charge next to the sofa and laid next to Pape, stroking his hair gently enough not to wake him. He really was so adorable when he slept and I took the opportunity to take selfies with him sleeping in the background, these were for my own personal photo collection of the trip. He must have woken up because I felt him poke me in the stomach.

"Goodmorning sleepyhead" I said poking him back and slowly got up to go to the kitchen to turn on the kettle.

Zoe walked into the kitchen tying up her hair and rubbing her eyes.

"What time is it?" She asked getting some mugs from the cupboard.

I checked the time on the oven clock, it was 9am.

Zoe had recieved a text from the airport that our handcarry had made it this morning and she asked Chase if he could drive her up to the airport to collect it. 

Within the next half an hour, everyone was wide awake and all of us took turns taking showers before heading to Pape's house for breakfast.

OOTD: black and white Ying/Yang tee, leather jacket, denim shorts and black converses.

Chase, Kevin, Zoe and Dylan planned to drive up to the airport after breakfast to collect the handcarry, then head back to Chase's to continue working in the studio for the day. It was warmer than yesterday and the sun was out which made the area look even prettier. 

When we arrived at Pape's driveway, his little brother greeted us by running up to the car when we all came out.

He smiled at me then asked Pape "Is that Lexine?" still smiling up at me.

"Yup, that's her, beautiful right?" Pape said winking at me.

"Oh shh you." I said nudging Pape.

Just like Mama Chase did, Mama Pape hugged both Zoe and I as soon as we walked through the door, Amercian parents were certainly alot friendlier and less scarier than thsoe from London, including my own parents. Both Pape's parents were in the kitchen and Zoe and I talked to them for a while as the guys were chilling in the living room.

"I still can't believe why you didnt go for Kevin or Chase instead Lexy" Pape's dad jokes while sipping his coffee. Right at this moment Pape walks into the kitchen.

"Thanks alot Pops, your'e the best" Pape laughs and drags me towards the living room. 

We all enjoy breakfast of homemade pancakes, nutella, bananas and strawberry's and Mama Pape's homemade yoghurt. NOM NOM NOM.

Chase tells MAma Pape that the rest of them need to go to the airport after breakfast to collect our handcarry then theyre off to the studio again to work on their tunes. 

"That's fine, I'm assuming Lexy and Pape will follow later?" Mama Pape said nodding at Pape and I

"Yeah, were gonna stay here" Pape replied taking a big bite of his pancake. Fatty. 

Again, breakfast was filled with joking around with Papes parents and having geuine conversations. Mama Pape told Zoe and I of how she met Pape's dad. As a coincedence, they had a long distance relationship too before Papa Pape moved from the south to be with her. How adorable. I guess that explained why she was really nice and understanding towards Pape and I's situation. I took a picture of the food and tweeted "Sexy breakfast at the Brown residence" and clicked it to lock.
