Chapter 17: Breakfast in bed

(Thursday 12th March 2015) - MORNING

I opened my eyes to a flashing on the side of my head. I slowly turned it and it was coming from Pape's phone. I lifted my head up to see that Pape's mum was calling. It was 7.30am. The daylight was still coming up from the little gap in the curtain to my left. Maybe she was checking up on him. I picked it up and looked around.

 Everyone else was fast asleep. Kevin and Lydia were cuddled under the covers leaning towards the wall, Dylan and Zoe were on opposite sides with Zoe's arms and legs flying everywhere, and Chase, well he was as he always was: mouth half opened, snoring like a pig and legs dangling off the egde of the bed. Weren't they all adorable.

Should I answer the phone? Flash. I should. Flash flash. Maybe its an emergency? Flash. No. She might think we spent the night together, we did but still, it's not a good impression, after all, Pape was a good boy and a big mama's boy. I jumped onto Pape's side of the bed, nudged him with my leg and threw the phone on his chest, still flashing. He opened his eyes slowly and they went big when he saw the flashing. 

"Mama" I whispered then curled onto the other side of the bed and closed my eyes.

"Hey mama" Pape said in the most sexiest morning voice ever. 

Silence.

"Yeah, were in West Virginia, we got here last night and Chase and I booked a large room for all of us"

Silence.

Silence.

"No mama, the girls are all on the other side of the room." Pape chuckled in an innocent voice and I felt him nudge me under the covers with his arm. 

"Yes mama"

Silence.

I turned around and leaned into him.

"Don't worry, everything's under control were leaving soon then we will head back up to Nasty Nati tonight." Pape said turning towards me and winking at me. I blinked slowly at him. 

"Okay, love you" Pape clicked end and chucked his phone to the floor where his bag was. 

He curled up next to me and pulled me in so I was leaning with my butt to his front and he stroked my hair. I held onto his arms.

"I'm hungry" Pape finally said after a long silence of staring away blankly. 

"Me too" I said pushing myself out of bed and standing up to stretch.

"Chase said he saw an Ihop just 5 mins up the road on the way here, want to go?" Pape replied rolling out of bed to stretch also. 

"Now?" I said looking over at Dyl and Zoe. They were still fast asleep. So were the others.

I looked at Pape who quickly jumped across the bed to my side and he pulled me back onto the bed. 

"Shhhhh" Pape said while he got on top of me and bent over and smack kissed me on the mouth. We made out right there and then for 5 minutes. I know, it was bad because anyone could have woken up during. CRINGE. I pulled away for a breathe and because I was embarrassed because Chase started moving around in the bed. He lifted up his head and ;looked up over at our bed. 

Pape was still on top of me, topless with just his Simpsons boxers on and I was covering my own mouth from bursting into laughter. I closed my eyes. 

"Don't let me disturb" Chase laughed quietly and rolled over to the opposite side of the bed, facing Kev and Lydia. Pape looked down at me and laughed. He quickly jumped off and ran over to Chase's bed.
