Not-So Surprising Surprise

Two weeks ago when Jimin finally stopped worrying about potentially being pregnant, was when things started to change. He became easily irritated and would have pains in his lower abdomen. He felt bad, not for himself, but when Jungkook would mess with him, he'd be mean to the maknae, even though it wasn't the youngest who was acting different.

For example, one morning Jimin was kneeling in front of the toilet, not throwing up, but expecting to with how nauseous he felt.

"Jimin! I have to get in the shower!" Jungkook yelled jokingly as he teasingly wiggled the door handle.

"It's hyung, you brat! Stop being so disrespectful! Go use a different bathroom and leave me alone!!" It's not the first time Jimin has yelled it. But his words came out like knives to hurt the younger's feelings. It was quiet for a moment after his outburst. He didn't know if Jungkook was still standing outside the door or not.

"Hyung, I'm sorry. I was just trying to joke around..."

"Just go away, Jungkook! Go pester someone else!" He spat back, upsetting the maknae further. He heard a sniffle and his heart sunk. Why was he being so pissy? He's yelled at Jungkook for being Jungkook. He's yelled at Hoseok for 'talking about his girlfriend all the time.' He's yelled at Taehyung for making random noises constantly. He's yelled at his own lover for sleeping in and staying late at the studio. He's yelled at Jin for mothering him and therefore pissed off Namjoon, causing an argument between him and the leader which Yoongi sometimes got pulled into. The only person he lived with that didn't get yelled at was Namjoon and Jin's seven-month-old daughter Nayoung. She was just a baby...Jimin began to cry and the nausea increased, he lurked forward and threw up in the toilet.

A week after that, puking became his morning ritual. Yoongi was in too dead of a sleep to notice or remember, or just not there in general. Jimin was finally sure now of what was happening. But he wouldn't get the courage to ask for help until a week later.

It was so embarrassing, having to talk to Jin and ask him to buy some pregnancy tests. But he did it. Jin finds out everything. He found out Yoongi had a crush on Jimin before Jimin did. He knew when they had sex for the first time. He didn't find anything that suggested what they did, like condoms or lube. He didn't hear them either nor smell it on them. No, he knew by the way Yoongi seemed less cranky and more touchy with Jimin. So rather than trying to be all sneaky about it, Jimin talked to Jin privately about it. He explained how quite awhile back, they were horny and ran out of condoms, Jimin just told him to pull out. But not used to pulling out, Yoongi shot his load in Jimin before realizing what he had done. They rushed to clean it out, but it obviously doesn't work like that.

"I'm glad you finally talked to me. I knew something was up. Ya know, condoms aren't so reliable anyway. Joonie always used one and we got a baby anyway." He tried cheering the younger up. Jimin sat on their bed, Nayoung in his lap, Jin folding his daughter's clothes as they talked. Ironic enough, the baby girl was playing with a soft doll. "I have some pregnancy tests in my bathroom. Bought a whole bunch of them. Five months ago, we had a scare. Just food poisoning. You're more than welcome to use them." Jin smiled walking towards the bathroom. Jimin got off the bed and picked up Nayoung, for some reason, holding her was calming to him. He watched Jin open a drawer and pull out a box that had three tests inside. He also grabbed a disposable paper cup. "These tests are highly accurate, but if taking all three is what you need to do, go ahead. If you take all three, it's easier to pee in the cup and dip them in. Don't forget to recap them. Just come out when you're done and we can wait together." Jin held his hands out and Jimin handed the little girl over. The eldest shut the door behind him. He decided to use all three. So after he dipped them in, he capped them and threw away the cup after dumping out its contents. He returned to the bedroom and was handed Nayoung to hold. Luckily, she was a cuddle bug.

"How did Namjoon react when you told him?" Jimin asked quietly, nuzzling his face into Nayoung's hair.

"He asked if it was his." Jin laughed as he put Nayoung's clothes into sorted piles. "I yelled at him for that, but he was actually excited. We both wanted kids eventually, but Nayie wanted to be made sooner rather than later, I guess." He looked at his now sleeping daughter cradled in Jimin's arms. "Babies are never mistakes. Maybe surprises, but I think if a baby wants to be, it'll make it happen. Like Joonie being such a horndog that night that he didn't know how to properly put on a condom, despite being highly intelligent. Life finds a way.......Ew. That was too sappy." Jin cringed at his own words. Jimin laughed. Maybe having a baby wasn't so bad. He loved Nayoung, he wouldn't like to think about how things would be if she wasn't born. It's amazing watching her learn and grow. It brings even him some fulfilment and she's not even his baby. Jin slipped into the bathroom to look at the tests while Jimin was lost in thought.

"Guess what." Jimin looked up to see Jin holding a test. "Looks like Nayie is going to be getting a new friend." Jimin couldn't say anything. He didn't know how to react yet, but on the inside he was freaking out entirely.

A few seconds later, he felt tears start streaming down his face. As he silently cried his eyes out, he held Nayoung closer to his chest. He was gonna have a baby of his own with Yoongi.

Jimin found out that he was actually ten weeks pregnant. The obstetrician was surprised he hasn't been showing more. Even if he had, you couldn't tell because of his loose fitting shirts he like to wear, his abs were diminishing, the lower part of his stomach barely jutting out at this point. Next step was to tell Yoongi he was going to be a daddy. A week later he decided to bring Yoongi out on a date. He took him out to a meat-grilling place.

"Yoongi. I need to talk to you..."

"Okay." He stopped eating and gave Jimin his full attention. He watched the younger one grab his bag and take out a rectangular black and white photograph. He took the photo and could clearly see the unmistakable shape of a baby. "You aren't pranking me are you?" Jimin couldn't look at him. He stared down at his plate of barely-eaten food as he shook his head. "We're actually having a baby?" Yoongi's voice was soft. Jimin nodded. A moment of silence past. "Can I see?" Yoongi moved to the other side of the table, next to Jimin and pointed at his boyfriend's stomach. Jimin pulled his shirt up. They haven't been intimate in a few weeks so he hadn't noticed the change in Jimin's stomach. His hand cupped the spot where the baby was beginning to push out Jimin's stomach.

"I'm in the third month. I guess you're pull-out game isn't very strong." He joked as he blushed.

"It really isn't..." He laughed. "Man, a baby...what do you think it is? A boy or girl?"

"I'm not sure to be honest. When I have my next appointment I'll be fifteen weeks. So if the baby is in a good position, we can find out then, maybe."

"Does anyone else know?"

"Only Jin. He gave me the tests, but I went to the doctor's to be completely sure."

"Wait, you want to keep it, right?" Yoongi's expression became worried.

"Yeah, once I found out Jin asked me about it. I can't get rid of something that's half you."

"To be honest, I didn't think washing cum out of your ass would prevent a baby from happening. I've already thought about it. When you started acting strange I thought either you were pregnant or somehow depressed you weren't." Jimin smiled. "Also, our baby is gonna have so much swag!" He pull the younger into a loving hug. "I love you so much." He pulled back and kissed the younger.
