Surprises and Struggles

Meeting Minnie p.2

Honestly, this chapter is thrown together and it's a disappointment compared to other chapters I've written but it'll still do it's job nonetheless. I'm just kinda stuck on ideas for this portion. So 🤷🏻‍♀️

"You're lucky. This is the most awake she's been since we brought her home. All she does is sleep." Jimin pouts. Jungkook just coos and smiles as he gently sways side to side as he stares at the tiny baby in his arms.

"I'd like to have at least one little girl...Tae, think can you try to make a girl?"

"I don't consciously decide that." Taehyung giggles and holds Minnie's tiny hand.

There was another knock at the door.

"We're here!" Hoseok says opening the door, holding a three-year-old Yeona's hand.

"We here!" Yeona repeats cutely. "Hi Uncle Taetae!" She smiles.

"Hello, Yeona!" Taehyung squats down so the girl can hug him after she slips off her shoes.

"Aeri might not be able to make it. She has to help the boys with the new choreography today." Hoseok informs Jimin.

"That's okay, she's more than welcome to come by when she's free to meet Minnie." The brunet smiles.

"Tae, your son is flirting with my son." Yoongi says as he points at the two boys. Taehyung looks back into the living room where Kyungsan is repeatedly pecking Jihyun on the lips, getting the baby to giggle each time. Taehyung whips out his phone and begins filming and taking pictures of the two.

"Kyungie, what are you doing?" Jungkook asks, positively reeling at their cute innocence.

"He so cute! I wuv him!" Kyungsan says and hugs the younger boy, both of them giggling.

"Just remember he's just a baby, play gentle with him." Taehyung coos.

"Can I hold her?" Hoseok asks Jungkook who is currently hogging the baby.

"Yeah! Sorry!" He laughs and carefully hands the baby into his hyung's arms.

"Oh look at you little one!" Minyoung doesn't show any sort of care or response. She just shoves her thumb in her mouth and suckles on it, only for just a moment before Jimin pulls it out and gives her a pacifier instead. Hoseok watches as her eyes flutter, heavy from exhaustion. "I finally get to hold you and you just want to sleep?" He pouts. He intended on showing Yeona the baby but she ran off to play with Mina.

"She sleep all the time. You missed your window of opportunity." Yoongi says as he pets his youngest's dark hair.

"She probably gets that from you." Hoseok replies, gently swaying and getting her to completely fall asleep.

"Hey, sorry we're late!" Seokjin says as he and his family enters the house. "Now, where's that baby? I need to hold her. I have really bad baby fever."

"I wanna see baby Minnie!" Nayoung bounces with excitement as she kicks off her shoes before helping Sujin with hers.

"She's sleeping in Uncle Hobi's arms." Jimin answers as he and Yoongi finish getting the food set up.

The day goes by relatively quick. By the end of it, all the kids are exhausted except for Kyungsan who bursts into tears when Jungkook tells him that he can't sleep in Jihyun's bed (with the boy in it too) and that they have to go home.

"I 'tay with Ji!" Kyungsan sobs, rubbing his eyes.

"Uncle Jimin and Uncle Yoongi have a new baby to take care of, they can't take care of you as well." Jungkook says rubbing his son's back.
