School Days

"It's okay, Jiji, noona will be home later. Do you want to play with Minnie?" Yoongi asks as he closes the door behind him.

"No!" The toddler shrieks kicking his feet.

"Hey, no kicking." Yoongi reminds him and the child stills but continues his fit.

"I heard him scream from here." Jimin says exasperated. "Come here, baby." Jimin coos and takes Jihyun into his arms.

"Momma!" He cries and buries his face in Jimin's chest.

"Shhh, it's okay. I promise she'll be home later." He says before starting to sing a song about feelings that always calms the boy down.

"Dada!" Minyoung calls from floor tugging on Yoongi's pants.

"Hey, pretty girl!" He coos and she smiles widely in return and tugs on his pant leg. "Lets try walking again!" He holds her little hands as he helps her stand. He tries to walk with her but she doesn't move her feet at all other than a single stumble. "You take steps like this." Yoongi says as he places her feet on top of his and holds her hand as he takes a small step. "Just like that!" He takes another tiny step and Minyoung giggles.

"Dada!" She mumbles and lets go of her father's fingers before falling forward face-first. He catches her quick enough to make sure she doesn't get hurt, but she bursts into tears anyway.

"Minnie, you're fine." He says as he lifts her up and holds her. She buries her face in his neck and that's when he hears how fake her cry is. "Really? Any excuse you need to make me hold you, huh?" He sighs and hears a giggle.

"Hey, babe." Jimin says with a still crying Jihyun propped against his shoulder and his phone in the other hand. "Tae said he heard Jihyun screaming and wants us to bring him over to play with Kyungsan, he thinks it'll help calm him down." Jimin explains as he replies.

"Sounds good to me."

At the Taekook residence

"Jiji!" Kyungsan coos the moment he sees Jihyun crying, his little arms open for the two-year-old. Jihyun starts scrambled to get out of Jimin's arms. He puts him down and he runs into the other toddler's arms, hugging him tight.

It's suddenly relatively quiet aside from Areum's happy eating sounds as she feeds from Jungkook hidden beneath a blanket and Kyungsan's indistinct calming words and Jihyun's sniffles.

"Our sons are probably going to date." Taehyung says out of nowhere. "If any of the kids are going to end up together I'm betting it's them."

"What even makes you think of these things?" Yoongi says giving him a confused glare as he adjusts Minyoung on his hip.

"Tae, they're just babies." Jungkook adds with an eye roll.

"I know, but I sense it. Look at how much he cares for Jihyun!" Taehyung nods at himself approvingly and Jimin rolls his eyes and sits down on the couch next to Jungkook.

"Kyungie is a really good big brother, he'd probably do the same if it was Areum." Jungkook adds, watching as Taehyung tries to take Minyoung from Yoongi but the girl turns away sassily and hugs her father.

"How's little Areum?" Jimin asks.

"She's good. She eats so much, hyung!" Jungkook groans and in response Areum coos. Jimin can see her kick her chubby little legs from under the blanket. "I've had to resort to nipple guards, I finally found a new formula that works good for her but she'll take a bottle only at her own convenience." He sighs shaking his head. "She's so much like Tae, I used to think Kyungsan was a mini Tae, but Kyungie is like a complete mixture of us, he just resembles Tae more, but he's not bizarre like Tae. I had like nothing to do with Areum other than being her incubator." He giggles and Areum detaches from his chest with a loud squeal. Jungkook pulls her away and she coos with a smile when she pops out from beneath the blanket and sees Jimin, a mixture of milk and drool sliding down her chin.

"Can I take her?" Jimin asks.

"Yeah, go ahead, but she has to be burped and she most likely will puke." Jungkook says as he fixes his nursing tank top under the discretion of the blanket before pulling it off and handing it to Jimin to use a burp cloth.

"Hey, little girl!" Jimin coos as he takes her from Jungkook's lap. She lets out a loud burp when he sits her up. "Good job!" He laughs and props her against his shoulder as he starts burping her.

"Kyungie, you don't have to always kiss Jihyun." Jungkook says watching Kyungsan kiss away the pout on Jihyun's lips with a cute 'mwah!'

"He so cute, mommy! It make him happy!" Kyungsan squeals as he tackles the two-year-old, both falling to the floor in a fit of giggles.

"Flirt..." Jungkook mumbles affectionately. "He doesn't even give Areum that many kisses." He stands up from the couch and stretches with a yawn. "Did you guys eat yet? I can cook or we can do something and watch the babies play?"

"Food is always nice!" Jimin smiles.

"Hi, mommy!!" Mina squeals as she gets off the bus behind Nayoung and Sujin. She immediately goes into Jimin's arms for a hug.

"How was your first day?" He asks as he grabs her hand as they walk back to the house.

"It was fun! I met this this girl and her mommy and daddy are famous like you!" She skips excitedly.

"Oh, what's her name?"

"Im Chaeyeong. Her mommy and daddy are in...GOT7, I think?" She ponders, but just shrugs it off.

"I know her mom and dad. BTS did a collaboration stage with GOT7 years ago." He smiles down at her. She stops in her tracks and looks up at him excitedly.

"Really?! Are there videos?!" Jimin nods, answering her question. "Can we watch them?!"

"Yes." He laughs and pets her hair.

"YAY!!" She squeals and dashes for the door. "I'm gonna beat you mommy!" She squeals, looking back to see Jimin jogging behind her. Mina makes it into the house before him. Jihyun who was trying to get his toy boat back from Minyoung looks over when he hears the door open and lets out a squeal of excitement.

"NOONA! NOONA NOONA NOONA!" He exclaims, letting go of the toy mid-tug, making Minyoung fall back when he suddenly lets go.

"Hi, Jiji." Mina giggles as her baby brother runs into her arms and hugs her tight. "Did you miss me?"

"Yeah!" He whines, not ready to let her go.
