Seth' POV

I stood staring at the Mona Lisa. Well not exactly. I was stood in front of a painting, but it definitely wasn't the Mona Lisa. I was in art class trying to recreate the Mona Lisa, Right now it just looked like frowning potato.

I looked over at Daniel's painting. I gaped looking at his exact replica of the Mona Lisa. "Did you steal it" I whispered to him still gaping. He shook his head smirking. Mrs. Morano came around looking at all our paintings.

"Wow! Daniel, this is amazing!" He just smiled and continued to smile. "And yours," She said turning to my painting. "Is very...unique," she said walking off to the other side of the classroom. Daniel laughed looking at my painting. I shoved him returning to painting.

"Daniel, don't you want to find the mystery diary girl?" I asked out of nowhere. "Well I guess so," he said adding detail to the hair. "I mean like now," I said putting my paintbrush down. "Well you can't just go outside and call out 'mystery diary girl! come out, come out wherever you are!" Daniel said sarcastically. I sighed giving up on him.

We spent the rest of art painting our Mona Lisa's. I was in english sitting next to Malia. "Psst," I whispered nudging her. She turned to me. "Do you know anyone who is missing a diary?" I asked her quietly. She thought for a moment before she shook her head. "Not that I can think of no," she whispered writing down notes.

I sighed, I didn't think that I would ever find the mystery diary girl.

Daniel's POV

I drew in my sketchbook. It was five o'clock and it was starting to get dark. I've always wanted to be an artist but I gave up when my mum told me that I would not make any money as an artist and it was very hard to be as famous artist.

My parents were both on seperate business trips doing who knows what. My aunt came by once every two weeks to check on me and make sure that I was okay. I put my sketch book down and ran my fingers through my hair.

My bedroom walls were covered in paintings and sketches that I had done in the past. I once almost took them down.

I stared at all my painting in rage. I ripped one off the wall almost ripping it in half. All I could see was red, I shut my eyes and took deep breaths. I opened them again and collapsed onto the floor. I hadn't slept and barely ate anything at all for the past week.

EARLIER THAT WEEK

"I just think that you should give up the whole 'artist' thing," My Mother said stirring her tea, my Father nodded in agreement. We were sitting in the living room while our maid Brianna was spying on us from around the corner.

"It's nothing about you, you're amazing at painting. When we are old though you'll be in charge of the family company," My father said. "Which won't be long!" My mother added. "So we both think that it would be better If you just kept the art stuff as a hobby," he said clasping his hands.

"In the meantime you can focus on your business skills! You probably think that business is boring, but it's really fun!" My mother said smiling.

I zoned out, angry. "Well, we have a meeting to go to, consider this okay? We're looking forward to you joining the company!" My father finished as I zoned back in. He stood up followed by my mother and the walked off in different directions.

My parents just assumed that since I never mentioned anything about what happened that I was joining the company and signed me up for business classes and got rid of all my paints and pencils and replaced the with graph paper and books on statistics.

I was brought out of my memories by a loud crash. I stood up and looked out of my window to see if anything had happened outside. I couldn't see anything so I turned away. I was about to go back to drawing when I heard another loud crash followed by another. I crept through the hall confusedly. I went outside and looked around. I couldn't see anything but I could definitely hear whatever it was.

I heard the sound of faint yelling that seemed to be coming from Felicity's house. Silently, I sneaked through the front garden and peaked in through one of the windows on the side. Both mine and felicity's house were one floor and identical. I thought that the room was empty until I noticed her.

A/N ooh! cliffhanger! what is going on at Felicity's house and we're learning more about Daniel! stay tuned to find out what happens next!
