Elle's POV

I was sitting at my desk when I got a text from Seth.

Seth: hey Elle do you want to go to the park later?

Elle: sure what time?

Seth: maybe at 2 is that ok?

Elle: 2 is fine see you there

Seth: bye

Elle: bye

It was a very short conversation. I got dressed into a shirt and jeans and brushed my nitty hair. I looked into the mirror expecting to look somewhat pretty but I looked like a troll. I put my hair up in a ponytail. I looked less troll-like now. But not enough. I put some lipgloss on.

I checked the time on my phone. 1:45 I grabbed my shoulder bag and put my shoes on. And headed to the park. I texted Felicity, Malia and Daniel if they wanted to come. Felicity and Daniel said yes but I got no reply from Malia.

I looked around once I got to the park trying to find Seth. I went over to him once I saw him. "Hey Seth!" I greeted smiling. "Hello Elle, that's kind of hard to say," he said laughing. "It is I nodded. "Hey!" Felicity said joining us.

"What're you doing here?" Seth asked Felicity. "Elle invited me?" She said confused. "Sorry, I didn't know you wanted it to be just us I invited Daniel, Malia and Felicity," I said looking at Seth. "It's okay," he said. Daniel suddenly joined us coming out of nowhere. "Hey!" Daniel chirped. "Hi." Seth said dryly.

Felicity looked back and forth between Seth and I before a look of realization covered her face and she birdied put laughing. She pulled me over to a tree trying to contain her laughter. "What?" I asked. "You are so blind!" She said calming down. I crossed my arms unamused. "Oh! Sorry! I forgot that your mum's blind." She said. I laughed. "It's fine."

"Anyways, can't you see!" She said her auburn hair blowing wildly in the wind. "Sorry I just can't take you seriously with your hair like that," I said. She rolled her eyes. "Seth likes you!" She yelled. Thank goodness Seth and Daniel couldn't hear. But the young boy playing hide and seek on the other side of the tree certainly did. "Yuck!" He said running away from us.

"What," I said frozen in shock no one has ever liked me except from this kid in primary school called Edward that believed he was a vampire. "He asked you here on a date." She explained as I turned red of embarrassment. I had invited our friends to our date! "Oh..." I trailed. Felicity burst out laughing. She walked over to Daniel and Seth.

I walked back to the three. Felicity was laughing at something Daniel said. In a weird way they looked good together, Daniel and Felicity. "Hey Daniel let's go over there," she said pointing to the other side of the park. When Daniel and Seth weren't looking she winked at me. Once they left it was just Seth and me it was awkward. Really awkward.

"Sorry," I blurted out once Felicity and Daniel were out of sight. "I invited Felicity and Daniel without asking you if it was okay," I said. "It's fine, but I wanted it to just be us." His green eyes shine in the sunlight. "Like a date?" I asked turning slightly pink. He nodded. "Well, there's still time to make this date not horrible," I said looking at my Hello Kitty watch. It's not childish, it's fashionable.

Seth grinned. "What are you smiling at?" I questioned and followed his gaze. He was looking at the play ground, his gaze specially looking at the swing set. There was two rubber seats, one for babies and the other for older kids. Or very older kids. The frame was rusted and painted red and dark blue. "You sit on it and I'll push you," Seth said explaining.

"I can't sit on a kids swing set! I'm seventeen not seven! I'll look ridiculous!" I screeched. "Oh, I thought it would be cute and fun, like in those books on Wattpad," he said sounding hurt. I felt instantly felt guilty. "No, no. It's okay, you wanted to do it so we'll do it. Even if everyone thinks I'm a weirdo, but who cares right?" I looked at him and smiled, starting to feel fuzzy all over.

He lead my to the swing set. I sat down in the seat as he stood a safe distance away from the swing but not to far that he couldn't reach the seat. He slowly started to push the swing back and forth. The swing then began to go higher and higher. My pony tail swayed back and forth as Seth pushed the swing. He slowed the swing down so I could get off. "Okay I'll admit, it wasn't that bad," I said laughing.

He stared into my eyes and pushed a strand of my blonde hair out of my face. I stepped back when I heard loud squealing. I looked to right and saw Daniel tickling Felicity. Yep, they definitely looked good together. I thought to myself smiling.

A/N awwwww just look at Elle and Seth, and Felicity and Daniel.
