"Lighten up Hana, we'll be there soon." Ryo went to nudge my arm with his elbow but I quickly moved it away from his touch.
"Piss off." I hissed, pushing my earbuds into my ears and moved away from them by backing myself in the corner of the car.
"Hanako, I do not expect to hear you use language like that. I will not tolerate it, not as long as you are living under my roof." I glared at my Father in the rear-view mirror, only to find that he was glaring back at me with dark brown eyes. I clicked my tongue and turned my head away from him, not wanting to speak to him let alone look at him anymore.
Piss off, I'm twenty two years old for crying out loud. I shook my head at my thoughts. "Hey Hana, we're here." Hiro told me, both Ryo and him looking out the window at the house. Of course with their heads in the way I couldn't see shit. Tch, what idiots. A couple of moments later the car stopped.
"We're here." My Mother's voice was almost song like as she spoke. I sat up more straight from where I was a sat in the back of the car before I opened the car door and closed it behind me and continued to stare at the new house. What..
The house was not how I had expected to it to be. I had expected it to be a lot like our former house that we had just moved out of. Modern with a grand front garden in front of it. But this; this was something completely different.
This house was rather old fashioned if you will. It was a traditional Japanese home, the one where they had all the panel type walks with sliding doors and little ponds. I hope the back of this's house would be more interesting than the front of it. The front of this place was bland compared to our old house. There was a wooden door with rectangular panels of a variety of different woods on it, a small set of stairs to walk up to the door and a small little patch of flowers in the center of a pond.
Great. Just great.
"So you three, what do you think of it? It's great isn't it?!" My Mother's joy was evident as she stepped out of the car. Ryo, Hiro and I said nothing, just kept quiet as see continued to stare in silence.
"It's not bad but..did we have to move to this house?" Hiro swallowed whilst he waited for an answer from one of parents.
"Yes we did, there wasn't many houses left on the market so we decided that it would be best if we brought this house." Father walked up to the door, pulled out a key and began to unlock the front door. Then, slowly, my Father began to push open the door as though he was trying to emphasize the newness of this new house. Then the five of us walked in the house.
The inside was a bit better than the front of it, probably because of all the decor that we had was in there. Well most of it. It seemed that Mother had decided to re-vamp our furniture and stuff to make it tie in with the surroundings. The grey sofas had been changed into brown ones with white embroidered pillows on top of them. House plants littered the living room, pone placed in nearly every corner. Why is it whenever we go someone whether it be for a couple of weeks to a few days Mum always has to do something different with the decor.
I watched as my mother sighed in happiness as she saw the sight of the room. "Tch, I'm going to my room." I turned around from the rest of my family, feeling their eyes burning in my back.
"Wait Hanako, you don't know which room it is!" My Mother called after me. I shrugged my shoulders.
"I'm sure I'll be ale to figure it out." And with that I left them all in silence as I made my way down the hallway into my room.
Why; just why did she make us move here? Can't they have chosen something else instead of this old fashioned home in the middle of no where? I sighed as I jumped onto the mattress on the floor. My furniture was still packed up in my boxes and I couldn't be assed to put everything together just yet. Tch.
I sat up from where I was sat on my bed and reached over to my bag. I pulled out a small bottle and opened up the top of it. Carefully I pulled out one capsule and pressed it against my mouth after I had closed the lid on the bottle. Oh well. I put the capsule in my mouth and swallowed. I can worry later. But for now, I think I'll just sleep.
