I ran along the cobblestone street to get to my destination more quickly. Well at least I don't have to worry about doing much exercise and warm ups today with them. They're lucky, they don't have to run far to get to the ice rink. I on the other hand do.
I shook my head as I continued to run, my back pack going up and down with every step I took. Next time I shall properly calculate how long it takes to run to the ice castle from my house.
Eventually I reached the ice castle, running only a few minutes behind. I stood outside and panted slightly, trying to regain the breath that I had just lost running all the way here. I looked up at the building in front of me. Right okay, let's do this.
I pushed open that door and stepped through it, taking my hoodie off whilst I was at it. I ran a hand through my my brown hair, pushing it back so that it wouldn't get in my way for the moment being. Tch.
"Hello and welcome to- oh it's just you Hana. How are you?" Yuuko's cheerful voice came from across the receptionists desk. I pushed my hair behind my back before walking up to the counter.
"I'm fine Yuuko, you?" She gave me a big close eyed smile.
"I'm great Hana! Anyway is you're looking for Yuuri and Victor they're in there." She pointed towards the doors of the room which we usually practiced in. I nodded at her turning around to leave before turning back at her.
"Yuuko, could I borrow some skates again. I haven't actually got any." She nodded her head with a smile before going behind the counter and picking out a pair of skates that were in my size before handing them to me.
"You can keep those Hana. We've got plenty more. So until you get a proper pair you can just wear those, I'm sure they'll be fine for the time being." I nodded her a thanks before walking off in the direction of the female changing rooms.
I wonder how she can always be so happy. I shook my head. Beats me. I sat down on the bench and took off my grey trainers and put on my black ice skates. That was kind of her to give me a pair, I'll have to make it up to her somehow.
I stood up, regained my balance before brushing off the invisible dirt off me. I had my black leggings on, grey tank top and a white crop top on over it. My bangs framed my face and my dark brown hair was pulled behind my ears out of habit. Alright. I'm ready to go.
I entered the practice room and to no surprise Victor and Yuuri was practising toe loops around the rink. I walked up to the the glass and watched them as they practiced. It wasn't long before Yuuri noticed me.
"Hey Hana!" He called out from the opposite side of the rink, giving me a small wave.
I rolled my eyes at the boy and gave him a small wave back. As Yuuri mentioned my names, Victor finally became aware of my existence and looked over at me. His blue eyes stared into mine and he gave me a smile. I huffed.
I stood outside the glass until Yuuri and Victor did their last lap before stopping in front of the exit between the glass.
"Hey Hanako." I nodded at Victor.
"Hi Victor." I turned away from him to face Yuuri. I could still feel his eyes on me though as I cast my eyes away from him.
"So, what are we doing today Yuuri?" Yuuri opened his mouth to answer me but before he could answer Victor cut in.
"We're going to be practicing some salchow's. You on the other hand are going to go warm up in the gym before I let you on the ice." He pointed towards another room on the other side of the rink. I looked at him, looked at the door and then finally looked back at him.
