I had never thought we would have to move. Life was perfect. I had my secret swimming hole, the shallow caves in the dusty hills, and the sunsets that looked as if God had painted a watercolor in the sky. Yet, we somehow got to the point where we absolutely had to move-and that reason? For no reason. We were moving to a city a zillion miles away, in New York, the land of the big apple. My parents said it would be a nice change of scenery. I did not agree.

"Ugh! Why do we have to move?' I moaned again as I dragged my old suitcase across the scuffed wood floor.

"Get your trunk in the backsea!." My dad called over his shoulder as he concentrated on loading everything evenly in the bed of the truck.

I sighed. "Come on, Tuck." Tuck, my 3-year-old shepherd mix, hopped into the back of the truck with me, and sighed while resting his head on my lap.

We finally arrived in Glen Falls, New York. A fairly quaint town, with small buildings, but enough room in the town square for a cow pasture.

"We're here!" Mom yelled over the loud rumble of the beat up Chevrolet.

"Great!" My brother, Logan, exclaimed sarcastically.

I punched Logan in the arm. "Cheer up. It's not like there aren't any hot chicks around. Not that you would know anything about that." I smirked.

Come on, Tuck!" I patted Tucker on the still rumbling truck.

Tuck sat up and jumped out of the backseat.

"Now, to start my life over and relive the mistakes," I mumbled to myself as I approached the front door.
