I was lucky it was the first day of school, or else everything would be absolutely hectic. Luckily, Casmira was there to show me around and tell me when and where everything was.
Lunch couldn't come soon enough. And assigned tables? Ugh. Well, at least I know more people. Cas introduced me to Bree, the photojournalist for the school paper, and Ryan Greye, her brother.

"Ry is fun. I should know. I live with him!" Casimira exclaimed.

"Great..." I muttered as I chewed my sandwich.

Bree smiled. 'Come on Sayge, why the long face?"

"Tuck...! " I cried, and pointed towards the window. Tuck had his paws on the sill and was smiling like an idiot. "Tucker!" I called. "Come here, Tuck!"

Tuck knew what to do. He pushed the window pane open and leapt towards our table, wagging all the way. People stepped aside, surprised.

"Sayge! You didn't tell me you had a dog! Much less an ADORABLE one!" She dropped to her knees and started to pet Tuck. Just as she fell to the floor, her foot caught a blonde haired girl's boot.

"Ugh! Alese! My boots are wet! With dog slobber!" The girl wailed to a red-haired girl standing a little behind her.

"Ummm. maybe we can buy another pair? I mean, it won't be the same, Noella, but-"

"Ugh! These were one of a kind! Now I need new ones! Put it down-except in cream." She waved her hand angrily at Alese and stomped away.

Ryan came to the table and rolled his eyes. "Look at them," he griped. "Always causing way more trouble than needed."

'Ryan," Casimira says. 'My brother. Ry, my bff Sayge!"

I smiled and waved at him. I took in every detail of his face. My heart stopped for a couple seconds.

"Hey, are...you ok?" Ryan said, concerned.

"Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night." It was true, but that was not the real reason.

"Ry, did you hear? Tuck ruined Noella's boots!" Cas gushed excitedly.

"Who?" Casimira pointed to Tuck. He smiled. "You've made a real enemy, my friend," Ryan joked, scratching Tuck's head.

Tuck smiled, tongue lolling to the side. Silly dog.

A/N: Thanks to Cassette for making the AWESOME cover this book now has! (I actually cried)

Anyways, I'll try to get most of this done this weekend since my family is coming over. Does anyone have advice for how to keep a puppy in control around 10 people? <3, Paigey
