(BOOM i must have been sick.)

"Project, stars, constellations..." I mumbled to myself. A project was due for science the next week on stars or galaxies. "Hmmmm..."

"How about Adesose?" the librarian, Ms. Argaez, proposed.

"Ado-what?" I asked.

"You know, the Warrior Girl!" She gushed. "Scientists discovered her a couple months ago. One of her stars-Kineopyea- has a planet like Earth. It's total sci-fi!" She exclaimed like a teenage fangirl.

'Neat! What's the earth planet?"
"Soelippe- it means life." Ms. Argaez went back to surfing the web.

Too soon, the day came to unveil my project. Luckily, Cas and I were partners so i didn't have to present all of it. "Adesose. The Warrior Girl. This is a brand new constellation." i started. "It has many stats and one of the stars, Gennira, has a planet much like ours. It might even have living organism, like animals or humans!" Cas continued.

"The constellation," I continued, "Shows a girl in armor holding a bow." We continued on and on until the teacher stopped us.

"Way more research than I expected! You really got into this. Good job girls."

The end of the day couldn't come soon enough. I rushed home and up to my room. "Hey-mom-hey-dad-need-room-now-okay-love-you-bye!!!" I yelled over my shoulder. I quickly slammed the door to my room and breathed a breath of relief. I had taken the locket off many days before, and I could feel its rhythm pulsing with my heart. I decided to put on the locket. my mind had some sort of yearning, a feeling, that I had to put it on or something would go terribly wrong. As soon as the clasp closed, I started to feel a wave of nausea. I ran towards my small bathroom and looked in the mirror. My clothes had changed to a Navy jumpsuit with golden dots, by hair now mostly blonde. My eyes were an unsettling shade of gold, surrounded by a dark mask. As my heart started to slow down, it picked up again as I heard someone scream. Without thinking, i raced to open my skylight. I ran gracefully along rooftops, my movements quick, my steps sure. I was a free spirit leaping out of my chains. As i jumped over a street, i realized with horror that i was falling. I closed my eyes in the darkness hoping for the best-then it stopped. I landed on something soft as a cloud. I peeked out of one eye, then the other, and sat up. I was sitting on a cloud. it seemed to be made of nothing but moonlight and mist. "This better not happen often." A boy about my age in a gray getup similar to mine stood in front of me. His eyes were a bright silver.

"'No, not at all. No," I shrugged it off. '"The name's Stella." I held out my hand.

"Korey." He took my hand. At that moment though i didn't know it, our lives were bound-not by meeting, but by destiny. At that moment, we became a team.

"So... who screamed?" I asked.

"Someone." Korey grinned. "I'm a riot!"

"Sounds like... Breyanna???" I exclaimed.d

"How do you know her name?" He asked suspiciously.

I smirked. "I know her."
