Leo

I found her crouched down. Holding a gardening material in her hand and furiously stabbing the soil. I walked over to her in the side of her vision, not wanting to surprise her while she was holding that tool in her hand.

I didn't take notice of his surroundings yet, because I was too busy looking at the girl. But now that I looked around, I saw the place for the first time. I was filled with awe. Almost every kind of flower was there, they were planted aligned. There were also herbs and spices. Then I noticed this strange flower with it's silvery petals, it seemed to be covered in moonlight. It was the most beautiful flower in the garden, as beautiful as the girl crouched in front of him. . .

Whoa, whoa whoa whoa. . . Whoa, hold your horses. . . The girl is beautiful. But clearly, not MY TYPE. She was too annoying.

"You know, I think you've punished the earth enough." I said to her.

She didn't reply and continued to stabbing the earth, she furiously rubbed her eyes. . .was she. . .crying?

"Are you crying?"

"Just leave me alone.", she grumbled.

"I can't just leave you alone while your like that! Oh never mind. . ."

Changing the subject I said, "Where am I exactly? And where are the people? For all I know I might be in Bora Bora."

"It is just me here, no people. . ."

She wandered of a bit before continuing,

"You are in Ogygia. And I do not know of this "Bora Bora."

"Ogygi-what?"

"Oh-gee-gee-ahh," , she said it slowly, like I'm some 4 year old that needed to be teach-ed English grammar.

The name sounded familiar. . .Ogygia?

"I think I might've heard the name in camp. . . And with some girl with a name after Caribbean music, something that starts with a C. . ."

Circe? No not Circe, Cal. . .

"Uh. . . Calypso? Yes, Calypso! Am I right?" I asked her.

"Named after Caribbean music, huh. . ." She muttered, "Yes, you are right."

"The story came from Percy. . . he said that you were uh. . .sweet and kind, not. . .like. . ." She seemed to wince at the name of Percy.

"Like what?"

"Never mind. . ,"

I was recalling the story now. . .how Percy ended up in Ogy-whatever. . .how a sweet girl helped him. . .and how she said she had fallen in love with him. . .but he had to go back to his world. I wonder what made her this bitter. . .

Calypso

I couldn't put up with this boy. . ,Caribbean music. . .

"Follow me." I stood up, stretching my legs in the process.

I went back to the beach, and said, "Tell me you want to leave Ogygia."

"Uh, I want to leave, whatever you said.", the boy replied.

"No you must say it."

"Fine, since you asked so nicely and because you want to get rid of me. I want to leave Oh-gee-gee-ah."

"Any minute now a boat will appear and taje you back to your place."

We stood there for minutes but no boat came. At last I said,

"What is this? The boat should have arrived by now! The island's magic is broken."

"Sure, nice to be with you to, Sunshine."

"I told you not to call me that, go look for your own place."
