Hello guys! Two updates in one day! Sorry though if its short.

Apparently, Clytius hadn't expected Hazel to be quite suicidal. He was slow in raising his sword. By the time he slashed at Hazel, she had ducked between his legs and jabbed her Imperial gold blade into his gluteus maximus. Not very ladylike, but I guess the huge rick deserved it, I bet the nuns of St. Agnes would never have approved.

Clytius roared and arched his back, waddling away from Hazel, Mist swirled around her, hissing as it met the giant's black smoke.

Now that Clytius was occupied with his poor gluteus maximus, though I think he could care less about not bearing able to have children, and with the Mist slowly eating up his smoke, Hazel ran to the Doors of Death and slashed the chains on the left side, but before she could get to the next one, Clytius had roared NO! and the flat of the giants blade caught her in the chest adn sent her flying back against the wall.

"Hazel!" I shouted, praying that what I heard wasn't her bones cracking. I was surprised, and thankful, that the big blade didn't cut her in half. Her boyfriend was going to  kill him if anything really bad happened to Hazel.

I saw Hazel unsteadily stand up, her sword lay on the ground, about five feet away. She staggered toward it, and shouted, "Clytius!" It sounded more of a croak instead of a brave challenge. Well, it got his attention.

The giant laughed, looking at Hazel limping forward. "A good try, Hazel Levesque. You did better than I anticipated. But magic alone cannot defeat me, and you obviously don't have sufficient strength to even try once more. Hecate has failed you, as she fails all of her followers in the end."

Turning my head away from them, I heard Percy groan again, he didn't look good, but he was still pretty much out of it. I searched for ambrosia in their small pack. Annabeth was awake but struggling, barely able to lift her head. I handed Annabeth a bit of ambrosia, and tried force-feeding Percy some.

Suddenly there was a flash of light, I tuned my head to see that the Doors of Death had disappeared, and Hazel's spatha lay on the floor where it had been.

Clytius roared loudly, that a half-dozen stelae fell from the ceiling and shattered.

"That was for my brother, Nico," I heard Hazel say. "And for destroying my father's altar."

"You have forfeited your right to a quick death. I will suffocate you in the darkness, slowly, painfully. Hecate cannot help you! NO ONE can help you!" The giant roared.

The goddess raised her torches. "I would not be so certain, Clytius. Hazel's friends simply needed time to reach her--time you have given them with your boasting and bragging."

Clytius snorted. "What friends? These weaklings? They are no challenge." In my mind, I was thinking, hey if Percy wasn't so tired he'd whip your podex around a hurricane!

The air in front of Hazel rippled. The Mist thickened, creating a doorway, and four people stepped through. Frank, Nico, Piper and Jason--all their swords drawn.

"Sorry we're late," Jason said. "Is this the guy who needs killing?"
