Wouldn't Trade You

Chapter 7

Today Tanner and I planned to go adventure with Daniella and Jake. Tanner said there was this cool abandon train, so we thought we could all go check it out. I dressed in ripped high waisted shorts with a plain white crop top. I got in the car and picked up Daniella on the way to Tanners. When Tanner answered the door I started to realize that I really like his style. He was wearing jeans that were ripped on the knees, black T, white nikes, and a camo hat.
"Hey, ready to go?" He asked with a smile.
"Yeah" Daniella said waiting for Jake.
"JAKE LETS GO" Tanner screamed causing it to echo in the house.
Jake came running out and we all got in Jakes car. Tanner didn't want to take his GTR out there. When we finally got there we all hopped out.
"Woah" I said in amazement looking down the train tracks to see the colorful train in the distance.
"Let's go" Tanner said walking down the tracks.
We all followed and even had to cross a long bridge that had no railings with a far drop if you were to fall off.
"Jake get a picture" Tanner said dangling his foot off the side.
"That's not funny Tanner" I grabbed him so he wouldn't fall.
"Oh do you want to be in it." He pulled me over by him almost making me fall off but he caught me.
"TANNER" I screamed "don't do that"
I walked off in anger towards the train. Tanner ran up next to me.
"I'm sorry" he laughed "I wouldn't have let you fell"
"Yeah yeah" I said continuing to walk.
We all began to laugh and crack jokes on the way there as we finally reached the train.
"There it is" Tanner said running up to it like a little kid.
When we all finally arrived we went inside of the graffitied train.
"GUYS LOOK" Jake pointed up.
We walked over to him and saw that there was an upstairs part to the train.
"Dude that's fucking awesome" Tanner said as he grabbed onto the side of the second story.
Daniella, Jake, and I all took the stairs and watched Tanner try to climb up here himself.
"Why don't you just give up already and take the stairs?" I laughed.
"No, I'm gonna do it" he said reaching onto a pole and pulling himself up. Holy shit.
When he got up on the floor he looked over at me "told you"
"Yeah yeah" I laughed rolling my eyes.
Jake and Tanner started to mess around up at the top and even discovered a dead bird. They wanted to mess with it using a stick but Daniella wouldn't let them. I just sat in a booth and laughed at what was going on. After Daniella got her way Tanner slid in the booth right next to me.
"You having a blast?" He asked.
"Nothing id rather be doing, than watching you two attempt to take a dead bird apart with a stick" I laughed sarcastically.
"Fair enough" he laughed looking around. "Is that a way to the top?" He asked pointing at the top of the train.
There was a little door that looks like it can open.
"Let's find out" I said getting up from the booth. But I stopped "problem."
"What?" He asks
"There's a giant hole in the rows. We can't climb out" I said.
"No problem" he said standing on the ledges on each side of the hole and opening up the door.
He climbed through then stuck his hand in to help me. When we both finally got on the roof we looked around at the view.
"It's so pretty" I stood in awe.
"Yeah" he crouched down.
I sat next to him with my feet dangling off the train.
"Thanks for inviting me" I smiled.
"Yeah, Jake wanted to see Daniella. And..well, I wanted to see you" he looked at me.
I didn't look back "yeah I like hanging out with you and Jake, you guys are good friends"
I made sure to use 'friends' so he's not expecting anything more. After a couple more minutes we got bored of it and went back in. But when we got in the train Jake and Daniella were no where to be found.
"Where are they?" I asked.
"I don't know" Tanner replied walking down the train. We got to this door that separates sections of the train. When we slid it open we saw Daniella and Jake in a booth making out.
Tanner and I started to crack up.
"Guys" Daniella whined.
"What's going on in here?" Tanner asked while laughing.
"Nothing." Jake said blushing.
"Oh yeah? Is that why your tongue was down her  throat?" I laughed.
They sat in embarrassment.
We decided to leave and go to this cave Tanner was talking about. When we finally to the cave it seemed kinda sketchy.
"Are you sure you know your way around this cave?" I asked looking in it.
"Yes I've been in here tons of times, come on" he said walking in it with confidence.
Daniella and I looked at each other and shrugged walking in. Tanner and Jake led the way while we followed behind.
After half an hour being in the cave Tanner turned around to face Daniella and I.
"I'm gonna have to be honest with you guys, I've only been in this cave once and I think we're lost" he said.
"Are you serious?" Daniella said angrily starting to freak out.
"Tanner, get us out of here" I said grabbing onto Daniella's arm.
"Chillax, me and Jake are working on it" he turned around and looked around the cave. "I'm pretty sure we go through that tunnel" he pointed at a small tunnel.
"Nope. I'm claustrophobic, not doing it" Daniella said turning around and walking away but I grabbed her arm and yanked her back.
"It might be the only way out of this damn cave" I reminded her.
I finally got her to go in and we were in there for another half an hour. But, Tanner was right, that tunnel did lead out. Daniella ran out as if she's never seen sun light.
"Sooo.. sleepover at my house?" Tanner asked.
"Hell yeah" Jake agreed.
"Yeah sounds like fun" Daniella said. "Mia, you coming?"
"I don't know..." I hesitated.
I knew it would set Caden over the edge if he found out. But, we were all just friends.
"Yanno what?" I paused to think about it a little more "yeah, I will go"
"Yay" Daniella celebrated.
We all went back to Tanners and of corse he knows I hate scary movies so he put on in.
"I don't know about this one Tanner" I said scared on the inside.
"You'll be fine" he said putting in the movie then sitting next to me.
I kept a big distance between me and Tanner.
Except there was this scene that scared me and I jumped next to Tanner practically latched onto him but I separated myself quickly.
At the end of the night me and Daniella shared a mattress on Tanners floor, Jake got his own mattress and Tanner slept on his bed. It was one of the best nights I've had in a long time.
