*COLLAGE AU*

You sighed as you walked off the bus, the cold November air rushing to your face. You shuddered, putting your hands in your pockets as you shuffled towards work. You heard a buzzing in your (F/C) purse and grabbed your vibrating phone. It was a call from your best friend, (B/F/N). You hit the answer button.

"Hello?" You asked.

"(Y/N), where are you?!? The lines are getting crazy in here!" (B/F/N) stated frantically. "You were supposed to be here an hour ago!" she reminded. You looked at the time on your phone.

'10:30'

"Crap, I'm so sorry! I'm on my way right now!" You apologized and did sorta a run-shuffle thing towards work, going slightly faster than you were going already.

After about 10 minutes worth of shuffle-running, you made it to the Starbucks where both you, (B/F/N), and a bunch of other people worked. You opened the glass door and were welcomed to a line of slightly-pissed off customers, demanding to know when their coffee would be made. You sneaked past the line of customers and slipped behind the counter, looking up to see (B/F/N) talking to a middle-aged customer.

"No, no, no! I ordered the peppermint mocha latte, not the white chocolate frappe!" the customer yelled. (B/F/N) glanced at me, a worried look in her eyes.

'Help me out here.' She mouthed. You walked up to the customer and smiled.

"Is everything alright here sir?" You asked.

"NO ITS NOT! THIS ISN'T MY ORDER!!!" he boomed, spitting in your face in the process.

'Wow, look who started their man-period today.' You thought.

"I apologize sir, we'll have your order right away." You motioned (B/F/N) to make the latte. "We must've confused your order with someone else's. " You laugh nervously. "Did anyone order a white chocolate frappe?" You stated, holding the coffee up in the air. The man grumbled and walked away. You felt your breath hitch when you saw a boy about your age walk up to the counter.

"Uh, I think I ordered that." he said, rubbing his neck. You couldn't help but stare into his eyes as he moved a piece of hair away from his face.
"Oh! Here you go-" you started before you hear a little girl running up to the corner.

"I'm here! I'm here! I ordered that!" The little girl must've been 8 years old or so. The boy stared at the little girl, while the girl looked up at you with puppy dog eyes.

"So, you guys both ordered a white chocolate frap?" You asked, they both nodded.

"Miss, can I please have the drink? Please, please, please, please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" The girl begged. You looked up at the guy again.

"She can have it, I'll wait for the next one." He smiled, melting a hole into your heart.

"Yay! Thank you sir!" The little girl beamed as she ran off with her drink happily. You turned back to the guy, who had a wide grin on his face.

"So, uh, I'll make you another one." You said, turning around to start making the guy's drink.

"No, that's fine," he answered. " I can wait, these people have been here much longer than I have." He stated. You turned back around and looked at the dude.

"Are you sure? It's gonna take a while.." you asked. He shook his head.

"Nah, its fine, honestly." He replied, shooting you another smile. You felt butterflies fluttering around in your stomach.

"Oh, um, ok. Thanks." You answered, quickly rushing to the kitchen to get your work apron on.

After about an hour or two, orders were being made and delivered to the customers, slowly but surely. You kept glancing at the guy, expecting him to leave but he was still there, waiting in his little booth.

"Aww, does (Y/N) have a crush?" (B/F/N) teased when she noticed you staring at the guy again.

"No...." you muttered. (B/F/N) gave you another look. "Ok, maybe." You giggled. You looked around, it must've been 7:00 or so because it was almost dark outside. Only a couple of customers were left, including him. Your friend yawned.

"So, are you gonna talk to him? I mean, he's kinda hot. I wouldn't mind flirting with him...." she smirked.

"Ok, ok, I'll go!" You laugh and rushed to make him his coffee. You slowly walked over to his table, making him look up from his phone. He shot you another smile, giving you those butterflies again.

"I have your order, but uh, I need a name before I'm allowed to give it to you." You said, trying your best not to stutter.

"Oh, my name is (C/N)!" He beamed. You wrote (C/N)'s name on the cup and handed him the coffee.

"Thanks, (Y/N), right?" (C/N) asked, pointing towards your name tag.

"Er, yep, that's my name." You answered, feeling heat start to rush to your cheeks. (C/N) let out a laugh.

"Hey (Y/N), I'm heading home!" (B/F/N) yelled, walking out the door.

"Mkay, bye!!" You yelled after her, and looked back at (C/N).

"Hey, so we're gonna be closing in around 30 minutes so you might wanna be thinking about leaving soon. " you stated.

"Alright," (C/N) answered "but first, I wanted to give you this." He said, as he handed a piece of paper with a phone number on it. You felt your face heat up again, making (C/N) smirk. (C/N) grabbed his drink and stood up, walking up to you. You stiffened when he was inches away from your face. Your face must've been 30 different shades of red. He slowly leaned towards your ear, brushing a piece of hair away.

"Call me." He whispered in a low whisper, his breath hot on your ear. A shiver went down your back as (C/N) walked out the door. You stood there staring at the door, your face burning up.

You were definitely making a phone call when you got to your dorm.
