The sound of the keyboard echoes through the dark floor, the clock had just struck midnight yet one person still stayed away inside the dark building, the cubicle he's in is the source of light, everyone had gone home already but not him. His eyes are starting to go red, his vision starting to get blurry even with the glasses he's using, his finger and hand starting to get numb from all the work yet it didn't stop him from finishing his job.
He looked close to the details, one mistake and he might have a bad reputation.
He sighed as he leaned back on his chair, removing the glasses away from his eyes, he pressed his hands against his face and heaved out another sigh. A tired one.
He closed his eyes but the incessant vibration of his phone stopped him from taking the shut-eye he wanted to have. Groaning, he sat up straight again and picked his phone up. The name of his cousin flashing up in his phone screen.
"What?" He asked right after he picked his phone up.
"Park Jimin, where are you right now?" His cousin asked ignoring his rude greeting.
"I'm at the office right now Chanyeol hyung." Jimin answered curtly. "It's already late! What the hell are you doing there?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin stared at the screen in front of him.
"I'm finishing the graphic design." He answered and heard Chanyeol sigh on the other line. "Right, that's so you but please go home. I won't give you a raise." Chanyeol said jokingly but received no answer from his cousin making him sigh again.
"Go home." Chanyeol spoke again. "I will." Jimin said before hanging up.
Chanyeol on the other hand, upon hearing the phone beep chuckled. He got used to his cousin's cold nature so it's nothing new to him, what worries him though is knowing how hardworking Jimin is, he might be blunt and cold but the guy's a perfectionist.
He's one of the best workers at the company and Chanyeol felt lucky to have his cousin to work for him. He tried giving Jimin promotions but Jimin turned down his offers in having a high rank in the company, Chanyeol doesn't understand why though but he thinks that it's because Jimin never liked attention.
Chanyeol can even count his cousin's friends in one hand. Jimin's reserved.
Too cold.
But spite of that, a lot admired Jimin. Boys and girls, you name it.
He chuckled, Jimin never really dated anyone.
But he thinks he'll find the one that can tame him soon enough.
"Good morning Jimin-ssi." The receptionist greeted and Jimin gave her a mere nod before standing in front of the elevator, the receptionist frowned but nevertheless gained her posture back. Jimin on the other hand looked around and saw employees coming in, some even with their clothes disarray because of the rush of going to work, and he shook his head. As much as he hated being late, there he was, also in a rush because of waking up late.
Blame the graphic works I did last night, he thought.
Disliking the sight of the employees, Jimin turned his head back to the elevator only to step back in surprise when he saw a person coming out.
"Oh, Jimin-ssi. You're late today."
The person said with an amused smile making Jimin frown. Running into her is the least thing he wanted right not but it seems like luck isn't on his side that day, he disliked that person. Why? Well, it's because she's the only person at work that can talk to him like that and piss him off.
Maybe if she isn't the singer for their animes, she would have been long gone from the company.
Jimin scoffed.
