"Jimin, what happened to your face?!"
"Ouch, stop." Jimin said as he slapped his cousin's hand away and glared at the latter. "What the hell happened to your face?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin sighed as he walked towards the couch at the corner of Chanyeol's room and grabbed a random magazine at the table in front of him.
"Nothing." He answered as he continued to flip the pages of the magazine ignoring Chanyeol.
"It's nothing? Did you get into a fight?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin shook his head.
"No." He answered and Chanyeol raised his brows. "Then who did that?" Chanyeol asked.
"Nothing." Jimin repeated. "A wound don't just appear suddenly." Chanyeol said and Jimin sighed, he went to Chanyeol's office to avoid making fuss outside but it seems like he's wrong because as much as he tried to avoid it, there his cousin was, fussing over his small wound.
"It's just something silly." Jimin said throwing the magazine back above the table and resting his back on the couch, his legs crossed and his fingers pressing against the bridge of his nose. "Tell me, or I will really cut your work for the whole week." Chanyeol threatened and Jimin groaned.
"I did it." Jimin said and Chanyeol raised his brows. "I kind of hit the snare hardly with the drum stick and it broke off. The other half flew and hit my face. " Jimin said and to his surprise, Chanyeol slowly clapped his hands with a smile on his face making Jimin look at him incredulously.
"What?" Jimin asked and Chanyeol continued clapping, this time his head shaking too.
"First of all, it's the first time you did such a dumb thing." Chanyeol said with a chuckle and Jimin shook his head. "Secondly, you spoke more than ten words! Congratulations Mr. Park Jimin for talking in a full sentence. It's more than ten words, yay!" Chanyeol said as he walked towards his cousin and gave the latter a handshake which Jimin yanked away.
"Seriously." Jimin muttered under his breath while frowning at the grinning Chanyeol.
"What? I'm just happy, it's been a while since I heard you talking that long!" Chanyeol said and Jimin rolled his eyes. "As for the former, why did you even hit the snare that hard?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin frowned. Why did he even do it in the first place? He doesn't know too.
"I don't know." Jimin shrugged as he stood up. "Where are you going?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin pointed at the door.
"Work." He answered and Chanyeol was about to say something when Jimin walked towards the door and left. Chanyeol on the other hand chuckled to himself, he can't believe why Jimin did that and how he managed to speak more than ten words.
It was always a struggle to him, but it seems like it doesn't know.
He grinned.
Meanwhile...
Chorong, looked up and stared at the sky, she felt exhaustion gnawing her mind and body. The recording for the new anime she's been asked to sing to be done, but it felt off to her. Singing always made her happy, it never failed to do until the past few months. Everything was a blur to her since then.
She sighed, she doesn't know when she ever felt empty. But then thinking of it again, when did she ever felt wanted?
Never. No scratch that, often. Change that too often.
Well, she feels less lonely if she's bantering with Jimin. That guy somewhat makes her feel happy even when he gets on her nerves, she doesn't know when did she ever start liking him, it's just a year since she learned to piss him off, two for knowing him but then there she is, already seeking badly for his attention. For his company.
