"What did you do this time?"
A voice suddenly asked as soon as Jimin opened the lights to his apartment, looking around, he noticed his cousin sitting at the couch while looking at him with his arms crossed. A look of disappointment written all over his face.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Jimin asked and Chanyeol sighed. "What did you do to her?" Chanyeol asked ignoring his cousin's comment. Jimin furrowed his brows, and Chanyeol shook his head before letting out yet again another sigh.
"Chorong." Chanyeol shortly said and Jimin sighed. "What's with her? She resigned? Good." Jimin said as he neatly placed his shoes on the rack and walked towards the kitchen ignoring his cousin that was at the living room.
"Aren't you going to treat her nicely?" Chanyeol asked watching Jimin go through his fridge and take out a bottle of water before walking out of the kitchen and back to the living room. "She slapped me." Jimin said nonchalantly and Chanyeol frowned.
"Are you a kid?" He asked, the volume of his voice raising.
Jimin stayed silent, he never wanted to talk about everything that had happened in the first place. He doesn't know why, but since the day Chorong decided to talk to him and act friendly to him, he started to despise her too thinking that it was just another way of the latter to hit on him.
"Chorong only wanted to be friends with you." Chanyeol continued knowing that his cousin won't speak. "Is it hard to welcome her?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin looked away, anger written all over his face.
"Why are you so keen about her anyways?" Jimin asked shutting Chanyeol up.
No, Chanyeol can't tell him Chorong's real reasons. Not when he knew Jimin despised the latter.
"See?" Jimin said knowing that he successfully managed to shut his cousin up one way or another.
"I won't argue with you anymore, this is useless." Chanyeol said throwing his hands up in the air and standing up. Jimin knew his cousin gave up, oh well, he's not going to back down their argument. He doesn't care what Chanyeol sees in Chorong, but nothing will change his mind about her.
Chanyeol walked towards the door, Jimin knew it's the end of the argument until Chanyeol stopped.
"If it makes you feel better," Chanyeol paused.
"You won't be able to see Chorong for a few days."
That made his heart drop.
"Good morning sir." The receptionist greeted when she saw Jimin walking towards the elevator at the company's lobby. Giving her his usual nod, Jimin stood in front of the elevator and waited for it to open, as soon as it did, Jimin held his breath expecting for a certain someone to appear their and piss the hell out of him but he's wrong.
Letting out a groan, Jimin walked inside the elevator and jabbed the number of graphics floor.
Not long after, the elevator doors opened revealing the busy floor. People running around, telephone ringing incessantly, and some even chattering because of their free time. Looking around, Jimin went to the farthest corner of the floor where his cubicle was.
"Good morning sir, the illustrator wanted to give this to you." Jimin heard a voice from his back so he spun his heels to see the intern Irene handling him a brown folder, he raised his brows and took it. "Is this the draft for the next episode?" Jimin asked and Irene nodded his head, still intimidated by the coldness of Jimin's voice.
