"I'm glad you're done checking the drafts the illustrator gave you. They can do all the work now, you better prepare for your trip to Japan." Chanyeol said with a grin and Jimin nodded his head. His face still expressionless like he's not excited nor unhappy about the trip, it's been two weeks past too but Chorong still not shows up at the office.
Did it really went that bad? Jimin thought as guilt started to gnaw inside him again.
"Hey, are you alright?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin snapped out of his trance. "I am, just thinking of some things." Jimin said and Chanyeol raised his brows, Jimin shook his head dismissing his cousin's questioning look.
"Oh, thinking about Chorong. I see?" Chanyeol asked and Jimin frowned. "What?" He asked incredulously. "I'm not." Jimin defended and Chanyeol chuckled as he nodded his head.
"Okay, I'll pretend you told me the truth." Chanyeol said with a smug grin on his face and Jimin sighed as he turned his back from his cousin and was about to walk out of the office when he heard Chanyeol speak.
"I know you're not that heartless Jimin, so if you're sorry. Go see her and apologize."
Jimin had to scoff with that.
"By the way, I already sent you everything you'll at the airport and at Japan. Have fun." Chanyeol said and Jimin ignored his cousin's remarks as he went out of the office not forgetting to slam the door close, he felt irritated of Chanyeol's statement about Chorong somehow.
You should be happy that she's gone, Jimin thought.
Snapping back to reality, Jimin shook his head and walked towards the elevator. Pressing the number to the sound and dubbing floor, Jimin sighed as the scenes back inside the music room played on his mind.
Unconsciously, a small smile appeared his face.
It was the first encounter he has with Chorong that they didn't argue. Oh well, he's in pain that's why but maybe if it was just a normal circumstance, they would have already bantered. Hearing the elevator ding, Jimin looked up and saw that he already arrived at his destination.
Seeing the elevator door open, Jimin stepped out and the first thing that he saw was the three interns talking at the round table at the corner of the room, he suddenly remembered that he's supposed to look after them but Chorong managed to handle them without his help but then now she's gone, no one guides those three.
Sensing his presence, the three interns looked towards his way and abruptly stood up and gave him a bow so he walked towards them. Their frightened expression didn't go unnoticed to him, he had to frown at that. Is he really that scary?
"G-Good afternoon, sir." The three greeted as they gave him a bow again and Jimin only stood there and watched them. "Don't you have work?" He asked, trying his best not to sound too cold but failed.
"I... we..." Wonwoo trailed intimidated by him.
"W-We're on a break sir." Irene answered for the latter and Jimin nodded his head as he glanced at his wrist watch and saw that they're right. It was lunch break.
"Why are you still here then?" Jimin asked and the three glanced at each other. "B-Because Chorong noona told us before not to leave without any permission from you or her, sir." Wonwoo answered and Jimin nodded his head.
"Wait here." Jimin said before leaving and the three can only nod their heads.
"What was that?" Mingyu asked and Wonwoo shook his head, his hands still shaking from fear. "I swear, it's the most he's talked to us." Irene said and the two nodded their heads agreeing with her. Looking towards Jimin who's talking to someone not far from them, the three gained their posture again when they saw Jimin walking back towards them.
