We start at one week.
I groan from underneath my sheets, rubbing my hands on my face and lifting the covers up.
"Guess what day it is today!" She asks cheerfully.
"Tuesday." I groan, deciding to be a smartass.
"It's one day until you meet your Soulmate!" She squeals.
"I know, mum." I say, getting out of my bed.
"I know you may not be excited, but it'll be worth it. I'm so proud of you Ash, you've made it this far." She hugs me.
"Thanks mum." I whisper into her shoulder.
"Now go seize the day!" She grins, grabbing me by my shoulders.
