Imagine Joker visiting your grave.
(Jared Leto's Joker. If anyone has any request, can you please send them to me. I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with new ideas)
••••••••••••••••••
Y/N watched Joker and his goons discuss plans for his next robbery, while sitting in her personal chair, next to J, that was reserved for her, and only her, even when she was gone forever. Her eyes scanning the one and only love of her life. He was so different, so broken. He didn't wear a wide smile anymore. His eyes lost all signs of happiness and life that they contained when Y/N used to look at them. His usually green and organised hair was now messy and uncared for, just like his clothes. To him he didn't have anyone to impress anymore. He didn't have anyone who's opinion on him actually mattered. Loosing Y/N, he lost himself.

Every second of his, now alone life, was spent remembering all the memories that have been made between the two friends, and later lovers. His mind creating pictures of Y/N's sweet smile that she sent his way whenever the two spoke. Even now, he could hear her soft chuckles and laughs echoing inside of his head. He missed her, he needed her. But all hope was lost as he won't get her back. At least not anytime soon.

Y/N has tried to communicate with J so many times over the past year, but nothing was working. She didn't think it would, however that didn't stop her from trying. Slowly pulling her hand towards J's, she stops when her hand is right above his. With a faint sigh, she brings down her hand in an attempt of feelings his warm ones once again. A shiver went through J's body as he felt cold air locking his hand. Brushing it off, he carries on talking with his goons. A small smile found its way onto Y/N lips. This was the first time that J has reacted to her touch, even if he didn't fully understand it was her, she was still extremely happy.

Memories of all the good times together played through Y/N's mind like an old film.

"This is beautiful, J." All of the happiness Y/N felt was clearly written all over her. The smile that spread across her face was priceless to J, he grown to adore it so much. "I'm glad you like it, doll." J wrapped his arms around Y/N small waist, smiling in the process. The two lovers stood together on top of a hill, watching the city that was sprinkled with dots of light in front of them. This was the best 1 year anniversary that Y/N could of imagined.

"This is not fair!" Crossing her arms, Y/N turned away from J. Soft laughter that escaped his lips making her brake the seriousness of her face. Rolling her eyes at him, she smiled. "You are cheating so much it's unbelievable. You're worse than a little kid." This time it was J's turn to roll his eyes, "Yet I'm not the one complaining about loosing a game of monopoly, am I, doll?" Leaning over the board he connected his lips with hers before she could answer.

So many memories, yet she still wishes she could make new ones. But that was a long forgotten hope, all due to Harley killing Y/N out of pure jealousy. What J did to Harley after he found out she killed his love made Y/N feel a little better. He stayed loyal to her, choosing to not go back with Harley, which Y/N feared would be the case. How wrong she was. At that moment in time she found out how much J really loved her, making all of this even harder.

Soon the meeting finished, everyone leaving to do their own things. Sadly, Y/N got up, walked over to J, placing a kiss on his cheek that he never would know of, and left. Walking to the area she spent most of the devastating year, her mind still thinking about J. After a long and painful walk, she finally finds her way into the graveyard. Placing herself under a tree near her grave, she closes her eyes, beginning to zone out, in an effort to relax.

Cracking of twigs made Y/N's eyes open slowly in attempt to see what's making the noise. Of course she sees J with a bouquet of red roses, her favourite. Watching him place them on top of the grave, she gets up, walking over to be by his side once again. Looking at J's face, she could see how red and puffy his eyes were. Painfully slow, a tear rolled down his cheek, bring tears to Y/N's eyes.

"I'm sorry, Y/N." His voice was so broken, filled with so much guilt. "It wasn't your fault, darling." Y/N replied, trying to reassure her lover, but to no avail. "It's all my fault! I should of been there to save you! Now you're gone because of me!" Breaking down, he fell to the ground, tears streaming down his face. "It wasn't your fault, dear. Please stop crying." Her voice was a whisper. J couldn't see or hear his love speak to him, making it harder for Y/N not to cry herself. Seeing J blame himself for her death nearly everyday was extremely painful for her, breaking her heart to pieces. She just wanted to help him understand she doesn't blame him for not being there at the time, she knows he was in a meeting somewhere. Y/N just needed to save J from becoming even more lost.

Placing her hand on his shoulder with sympathy, J jumps in fear. Turing around, about to end the life of the idiot who scared him, his eyes widen and mouth drops. Before his eyes, there stood Y/N, but she was transparent? Few seconds of confusion between the two passed, until J guessed what was happening. Hesitatingly, he pulls his arm towards the ghost. "Y/N?" The shock on her face was clear as day to see. He finally could see her. "J." She breathed, pulling her hand towards his. "It's really you." J spoke in disbelief, feeling the coldness that Y/N's hand carried.

"I don't know how long I have J, but you need to listen to me." J eyes never left Y/N's as he nodded, letting her know to carry on. "I want you to know, it's not your fault. It never was and never will be. What happened was Harley's fault. She was the one who pulled the trigger. She must of knew you weren't going to be in the house at that time, that's why she came then. It's not your fault. So please stop blaming yourself. Do it for me J, please." Tears were rolling down J's face once again. He finally could talk to his love again, but for how long? Seeing how hurt Y/N looked and remembering neither know the time they have together, he didn't want to upset her anymore with arguing.

"I-I will not blame myself anymore, Y/N." He lacked words, too confused by everything. Light began to shine onto the ground, but only Y/N was able to see it. She finally finished everything she had to do on Earth. "I can see the light, J." Tears streamed down her face now. She didn't want to go. She didn't want to leave J behind, on Earth. "G-Go." Was the only thing he said. The bright light began to become more powerful, she had to go. "I-I love you, J." Dropping his hand, Y/N slowly walks into the tunnel of light. "I love you too, Y/N." His words hang in the air for no one to hear, as Y/N is already gone.

Facing up, a smile on his face, the first since Y/N's death. He knew she was looking after him. He needed to make her proud. Wiping away his tears, the insane laughter found its way to his mouth, escaping it. The old Prince Of Crime is now back, with more motivation than ever. Beware Gotham, you're not ready for what's coming next.
