Finally, today is Christmas! I believe that this is the third year that me and J spend together on Christmas, and I just can't wait. He seems to always shower me with presents, that I don't necessarily need, but it's still a lovely thought that he would spend so much of his money on me. Personally, gifts are not too important to me, it's more the time that I get to spend with J that counts the most, but I would be lying if I said I don't like the things he surprises me with. Last year, he got me a set of cards, which was hysterical from my point of view, a gold necklace with my name carved in a small heart attached to the chain, and a mansion in the posh area of Gotham. A mansion! I still can't believe it.

While being distracted by the memories of last year, I did not notice J waking up next to me. His arm wrapping and pulling me closer to his warm body, as a smile crept it's way onto my face. "Good morning, doll." His husky voice breaking the silence between us, causing my smile to grow even more. "Good morning. You know what day it is today, right?" My excitement was radiating off of me. Now facing J's bare face, which I found extremely handsome without make up, he was mirroring the wide grin that was on my own face.

"It's Friday, I know, doll." He teased, happiness filling his green eyes. Rolling my eyes, I playfully punch him in the arm, earning a small chuckle. "You know what I meant, silly. It's Christmas!" J makes a 'shocked' face, making me roll my eyes again. "How could I have forgotten? It is Christmas. And you know what that means?" Attempting to sit up, I get pulled back into J's muscular body. There is no point in me even struggling against his grip, it would be like a mouse attaching a lion, pointless. Sighing, I position myself in a comfortable way against J's body.

"What does it mean then?" I question, my excitement not going anywhere. "It means that today, we get to spend all day in bed." Without looking at J, I could sense the smirk that was placed on his handsome face. "No, it's means we get to go downstairs, open presents, eat, and eat a bit more." Feeling his grip loosen a bit,  I could finally escape him. Making my chance, I quickly pull myself up, landing on the edge of the bed, nearly falling off it.

A faint growl escapade J's lips, which was followed by his fake annoyed voice. "You are a stubborn one, aren't you?" A faint chuckle found its way out of my mouth, "Maybe. Now come on. We are going downstairs." I scream with excitement, making him jump a little. Grabbing his hand, I pull him out of the bed. Resulting in many growls from J.

After a few minutes of struggling that J put up, we finally made our way into the living room, which was filled with Christmas decorations. The Christmas tree was standing right in the corner, looking more beautiful than ever. Many presents were sprinkled underneath it, creating even a prettier picture of the room. Sitting in front of the tree, with J standing up, looking down at me and shaking his head. "You are so childish sometime." He laughs. Ignoring his comment, I reach for one of the presents that I am planning on giving to him. Finding the first one I could, I pull J down to my level, which meant making him sit down next to me.

"Here." Passing the gift to my boyfriend, the excitement growing even more. J slowly began to unwrap the gift, revealing a black box. Opening the box, a smile makes a way into his face. "What a lovely gift, Y/N." He laughs, while leaning in and giving me a quick kiss. "For my gift, I need to go into my office to get it. I'll be back in a minute." J gets up, leaving me to think about what his surprise can be.

After a minute or two, J walks into the room, with a small puppy curled up inside of his arms. Running up to him, I squeal with happiness. "You got me a puppy!" I whisper-yell, trying not to scare the small creature in his arms. "No, you silly. It's an elephant, obviously." Sarcasm leaking off of his words, the smile not leaving his face though. "You're lucky you got me a puppy, because I am way too happy right now to even get annoyed at that comment. Is it a male or female?" "I believe it's male. That's what the lady said anyway." J tells me, placing the doggie in my arms.

"He is too cute." I squeal again. It should be illegal to be this adorable! J laughs at my actions, but being too fascinated by the puppy, I don't notice. "So what are you going to name it?" I look up at him with a shocked expression. So many names to chose from. How can I pick just one? How do I know is suitable? Oh no, the pressure. "Y/N, did you just disconnect or something?" J shakes his head, maybe getting a puppy was a bad idea. "I know!" I scream, making the puppy jump in my arms.

"Oh no. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. Shhh." Frantically, I began apologising to the puppy, pulling him closer to me. "Ace." I whisper. J looks at me confused, "What, doll?" He questions in confusion, not hearing what I said. "I am calling him Ace." I replied a bit louder. J began to laugh historically at the name. Sternly, my eyes connect with J's, shutting him up. "You are more creative than I believed, Y/N. I thought you would name him Spot or something." Rolling my eyes, I carefully walk towards our sofa, placing myself on it, J following my steps.

The rest of the day we spent cuddling on the sofa with Ace and watching Christmas movies. This certainly is the best Christmas Day that I ever had.
