A wolf came out, the one that had brought me into the forest in fact. For some reason I wasn't scared. I dropped on four paws though. But instead of whimpering I barked and I was way taller then when I turned into a wolf before. I realized I was an adult. I wasted no time thinking how this happened. I turned around and ran.
Crashing through the bracken I ran even faster than before. I came to a halt on a river bank. But didn't hesitate to drink some. The water was cold like ice on my tongue but I didn't care anymore. As I drank something crunched a stick. My wolf instincts were to turn around and face the source head on, though my human instincts were to run. I obeyed my wolf side and turned around. Thankfully it was a fox. I growled and sneered. The fox hissed at me once then turned tail and ran for cover in the forest. But a moment later it sprang at me from behind I whipped around and battered it out of the air it quickly sprang to it's paws and ran off for good. I quickly went in the forest and found a bramble wall with space inside big enough for two wolves. I quickly went inside and drifted to sleep.
