Chapter 11

                Morning came and I felt hyped. I was in Yancy’s arm and he said “Good morning beautiful.” And kissed my forehead.

                We both stood up and he said “Ready for tonight?”

                “I’m scared – what if I fail?” I said

                “You won’t because I believe you.” He said and came to me holding my shoulder.

                “What could go wrong?” he said

                Night came and we were driving.

                “Remember your mission Sky.” He reminded

                “Yeah – please don’t ever leave me here.” I said nervously.

                “I promise.” He said then he added “Our comm lines are perfectly working.”

                And I checked mine on my ears.

                “We have a backup so don’t worry.” He said and I can already see the mansion.

                “And were here” he said – Yancy imposed as my driver then would come inside as a crew.

                “Good evening” said the guard on the door.

                Then I handed him an invitation I got inside heard on my ear “Good Job Emerald.”

                I went to roam a bit and all I can see was people dressed in their best and I was handed a glass of champagne.

                “Emerald, I’m in position and you’re really looking good.” He said.

                “I can’t see him Diamond.” I told Sky.

                “Keep searching – the party has just started.” He said

                “Yancy, will you ever trade me for anything?” I asked him.

                “That was unexpected” he said and he was silent. I knew that he just had told me he liked me. But I just want to know.

                “Guys are you seeing him?” I asked them. After searching every corner.

                “Were marked. I don’t like this at all. Fall back. Emerald, don’t move I’m getting you.” He said

                And I was keeping my cool not to panic.

                “Emerald’s covered, Diamond.” I heard

                And then Yancy grabbed me and took me when there was a gunshot and everyone was screaming and running.

                “Were blown – team let’s re-group to the extraction point” Yancy said

                And we were running to the parking, men were chasing us and already shooting.

                “Run to the car I’ll hold them off” Yancy said and I was searching for our car. I am comprehending not to panic and break out.

                I found the car opened it and I started driving. I went to where Yancy was and opened the door so he could get in.

                “Drive – Drive – Drive” he shouted and men were running in front of the car with guns so I bump them all. And drove to the exit.

                They barricaded the way so I passed thru it like a hurricane.

                And drove away.

                Cars were already tailing us and Yancy was radioed “We need a diversion Diamond.”

                Then Yancy grabbed a big-big gun I asked “What is that?”

                “This babe is what we call SMAW.”

                “Team rocket’s on the way.” He said and fired it and the car behind us exploded.

                “That’s my diversion – they die in this version.” He said

                I drive to where he said I’d go.

                “Pull over here and get your head down.” He said

                I got out the car almost crawling and I heard shooting.

                Yancy and I ran to the team and they were shooting at people. And I covered my ears.

                “Okay – let’s move out.” Yancy said and we were at a military truck.

                “Are you okay?” he asked me.

                “Yeah – my heart is racing” I told him.

                “You were a rock star Sky – your driving is boss.” He said looking at me and gave me his jacket.

                “Let’s call this a day.” He said

                We arrived at the hotel and we started packing. “Come on, were catching our flight.” He said

                “To where?” I asked.

                “Germany” he said
