Chapter 19

Chapter 19         

                We weren’t hearing anything and the DNA result – if I am related to him is negative. He’s not my brother. I wish he knew that and come back to me.

                Then I went to James’ office.

                “Sir, do you have anything on Yancy?” I asked him.

                “Sky – I’m still not getting anything.” He answered

                Then I stood up and walked to the door and said “Let me know if you have.”

YANCY’S POV

                It’s been a month since I left Sky and Germany. I am having covert operations to Russia and I couldn’t get in to Irina.

                I wanted to talk to her but I don’t know what to say. I miss Sky but I hope she’s not my sister. Russia is cold and I need to something.

                I went to Irina’s fortress and surrendered myself.

                “Stay there – hands in your head and on your knees.” The guards say as I fell on my knees.

                I did what they told me and the guns were still pointing at me.

                “State your business“ The older guard said.

                “I am Irina’s son.” I said and they said “Stand up slowly” then the other checked me and I was clean.

                “Follow me.” The other guards said and I was headed for their main security.

                “I am Vladimir – head security.” He said

                “I am Dave Yancy Ruess former CIA agent and the son of Irina.” I said

                And he ordered for signal check and comm detector. I was then again clean.

                “Irina is out of the country at the moment but will be back tomorrow – and if I knew your lying I will send back you head to the CIA.” He said

                I was then held in a cell until Irina comes back to confirm what I said.

                2 night and 2 days had passed and still waiting for Irina to come. I had been thinking of Sky.

                I love her so much but the fact of her being my sister is driving me crazy.

                I don’t understand why my dad didn’t know about this. Was he blinded? Didn’t he even look for my mom?

                The world is big and how did I even have into Chris’ daughter house.

                Then Irina, would she even remember me – nor accept me as his son – it’s a do or die thing. I walked into my death trap. In a cell and I miss sky so much.

                I know Peck is taking care of her. I hope the agency won’t give her a suicide mission here. I will go sane if I lose Sky. But until now I have to forget about her.

                Her life is different now – she’s going to adjust in the agency and if Irina would accept me she won’t like Sky.

                Vladimir came and opened my cell and said “Irina’s here and ready to see you.”

                I am worried to what could happen.

                Then a lady was standing in red dress came to me and hugged me.

                “I’ve been looking for you – where have you been?” she said

                “Irina?” I asked

                “Yes son – it’s me your mother” she said and something clicked on me. Happiness and fulfillment but there is something that does not want me to accept her.

                “Oh, you grew so fast – I didn’t know where to find you Dave.”  She said

                “Why did you left me?” I asked her and she stepped backward.

                “I had reasons Dave and it’s been a long time that I almost forgot why.” She said

                I stared at her. Looking every inch of her face.

                “What matters most is you’re here.” She said with a smile.

                And not even a tear shed.

                “Irina, I worked at CIA” I told her and her face was shocked.

                And she smiled after she composed herself.

                “It doesn’t matter – all I want is you. We could work things out.” She said

                Then hugged me tight and said “Feel at home honey.” Then she kissed my forehead.

                It felt good knowing you have a mother.  A cold – hearted monster.

SKY’S POV

                “Sky” Peck shouted while I was wiping the counter.

                “Sky – we have a visual of Yancy – two days ago” he said

                “What?” I asked

                “Come on – we need to get to the HQ.” he said and we drove 5 minutes away.

                I went to James’ office and he showed me the CCTV footage of Yancy at a Russian hotel.

                “I told you he’s in Russia” I said as I sat composing myself not knowing what to do.

                “We need to get him out of there.” I said

                “No Sky – he chose to be there.” James said showing me another video of Yancy getting inside Irina’s compound.

                I am now devastated.
