Chapter 15
We are still here in Germany and Polo is being questioned but giving us hard time.
He tells shitty things and everyone is getting impatient.
And I signed a contract with the CIA, I am part of the agency now and but could only work with Yancy. We needed this so we can’t be apart and for legal purposes.
Yancy arrived and asked him “Anything new?”
“He’s still not talking” Yancy said.
“Can we go see him?” I asked.
“Yeah why?” he asked.
“I wanna talk to him.” I said
“Okay, tonight we’ll go check again.” He said
“Where’s Peck?” I asked.
“On a solo mission.” He said
Night came and I’m about to enter Polo’s cell. We sat face to face but he was blindfolded.
“You do know I won’t be talking” he said
“No – you just talked.” I said
“Someone’s a fighter.” He said
“And someone’s a looser – who just got disposed of by his brother.” I said
He sounded mad and said “What?”
“You heard me right – you just got disposed of by your own brother and someone is enjoying your position right now with your wife, your kids, your wealth and your freedom.” I said
“How dare you say that to me?” he said
“You’re mad because you know I’m right.” I said
He was silent and I said “You can have those back when u talk and just sit around for two years. Look for Sapphire if you want me.” And I stood up.
“How can I trust you if I don’t even got your real name?” he said
“Don’t worry about it – you go by names I go by names I do less of torture and more on talking.” I said
“Remember this, if you’re important to him – since the day one, you should’ve been rescued.” I said then walked out
Then Yancy was there standing and said “Good job for a beginner – James impressed of you.”
“I want to strangle him and choke him.” I said
“You’re better than that.” He said and kissed my forehead.
“We should take a time-out” Yancy said and I nodded bitting my lip.
“Come on – I’ll show you around.” He said
He was driving and I asked him “Yancy, where’s your mom?”
“I never met her.” He said
“Why?” I asked
“Whenever I ask my dad or Chris about it – they’ll answer me same thing ‘she’ll come around’” he said
“You mean you never saw her?” I asked
“Exactly” he said
“Sorry” I said
“It happens” he said and pulled over. We were beside a cliff and I was flown to the scenery.
Then Yancy stood beside me and said “Sky will you marry me again?”
I paused and looked at him and then I hugged him and said “I will marry you 100 times Yancy.”
It was 2 days after I talked to Polo and Peck came to our room early in the morning and shouted “Guys, wake up – Polo wants to talk to Sky.”
Then I flipped my blanket down all the way and said “What?”
Yancy sat up and looked at Peck.
“Come on guys” Peck said wanting us to hurry.
We arrived to the HQ in no time and they were already expecting us. And they sent me straight to the room and Yancy got inside because I wanted him to.
I sat down and Polo still blindfolded.
“Is that Sapphire?” Polo asked.
“Yes it’s me.” He said
“You can’t make me talk” he said
“No – you just talked” I said
“I had to be sure it was you – they were trying to copy everything of you.” He said
“Why did you call me for Polo?” I asked
“I will tell you everything – but I want assurances” he said
“And what is that?” I asked him.
“Bring me my family here and their names changed” he said
“Give me the names and location and if you bullshit me – I’ll make sure you never see them.” I said trying to scare him.
“I know what you’re capable of and the man standing beside you.” He said
I looked at Yancy and he signed outing his finger on quiet sign – wanting me not to tell him he was there.
“Write this down” Polo said
“Agatha Ruskova is my wife; Alexandria, Demyan and Bogdan are my kids. I want them safe and sound not even a scratch” he said
“I told them that if this happens to me they fly to Switzerland locate my only property there with the name Herc Kaidinovsky.” He said
“At the end of the week I want them here – today is what Sapphire?” he asked me
“Wednesday Herc” I said
“So the deal is on.” He said and I stood up and Yancy followed me out.
