As I reached the front porch to the house I stopped to think about what just happened. I think I was in shock, and it just hit me. My father wanted to make up with me? He isn't even my father. He's a cold hearted man who deserves to never see me again, nor have my love back. I was pulled from my thoughts when Ian opened the door.
"Hey, Xhex, is something wrong? You look really pale."
"Yeah, I'm fine. There's just something I need to tell you."
"Okay." I lead him to the couch, where Kalel and Anthony were siting, and sat him down next to them. I stood in front of the three, looking at all of their shocked looks, before I began. I then continued to tell them everything that happened, from starting my walk, to my father finding me, up until now.
"And here I am now, back here. I don't know what to do." I guess I hadn't been looking at anyone because when I finally looked at their faces I saw a mixture of anger and fear. Maybe a hint of sadness for me.
Ian stood up, walking over to me and wrapping me in a hug, "Are you sure you're alright? There's a bruise on your knuckles, I'm guessing from punching him?"
"Yeah..." I said quietly, staring at my hand, thinking about the contact between his face and my knuckles, "Xhex?" I looked up to find Kalel looking at me, the guys gone.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think he's going to try and hurt any of us?"
"No. He's a weak, pitiful person. He'd never do that, knowing he'd never get a chance to be with me again. Everything's going to be okay." I ended with a smile, despite my boiling anger, just so I could reassure her.
"Okay." she said quietly, with a smile.
"How about tomorrow you and I get to know each other better? Lets say a girls day?"
"Yeah I'd love that!" she seemed really excited, so it made me excited, too.
"Cool! I'm gonna go find Ian. I'll talk to you later."
"Yeah I gotta find Anthony, see ya."
Wow, she managed to put me in a good mood instantaneously. I like her already. I walk to Ian's room and he's not there, so I go to the computer room and find the guys and Kalel all at the computer.
"Hey, what's everyone up to?" I asked, making the three turn around.
"We were just finishing the editing on this video. I'm almost done." Ian responded.
"Okay."
I turned to walk down the hall, and before I could walk in, a hand reached in front of me and shut it. I looked up to see Ian standing behind me, smirking. "Hey." he said.
"Hey."
"Can you come to my room tonight? I'd sleep better that way."
"Fine." I said sighing.
"Aw, don't sigh like that."
"Okay."
"You don't seem to happy about coming with me."
"I am. I just have a lot on my mind."
"Well come with me then." he took my hand and led me to his room, opening the door, walking in, and shutting it behind us. "We never grabbed any of your pajamas so you can just wear one of my shirts. You'll look hotter like that anyway." He said with a smirk. He handed me a shirt of his, my favorite one, the one from out first date. The firetruck one. I looked at him and he just watched me. "Well?" I asked him.
"What? Why aren't you dressing?" he said while he slipped off his pants.
"You're watching me. Turn around."
