Recap: "By the way Xhex, it's about time that you to meet the rest of the crew."

"Who is the rest of the crew? Like the others from gamebang?" I asked Ian the next morning, the two of us currently standing in the kitchen, finishing breakfast.

"Yeah. I can take you to see them. We're gonna film a gamebang today. Wanna be in it? We're gonna play the new just dance game."

"I'd love to! Are you talking about Just Dance 2014?"

"Yup. We've played all the others and it was requested a lot."

"Sounds cool. When are we leaving?"

"Maybe about ten minutes."

"I'm gonna go get ready then."

I ran to my room, stripping from my pjs and pulling on black skinny jeans and a dark blue hoodie, over top of a black t-shirt. I brushed my hair, luckily it was naturally straight, so I left it down, flowing down my back. I put on my minimal amount of makeup: eye shadow and mascara.

I looked okay enough for the public, so I went to my room, slipping on my converses, and went into the living room to find Ian and Anthony, who looked ready to leave.

"Good morning, Xhex." Anthony said to me once he saw I walked in.

"Good morning. Are we leaving now?"

"Yup." Ian said, smiling and grabbing his car keys. The three of us walked out the door, brisk air hitting me as I stepped out. I hopped in shotgun next to Ian, in the back, Anthony sat in the middle. It took about twenty minutes to get there, and we got out, walking into the building to find three guys and a girl, sitting in the seats that I saw in some of the gamebangs I've seen.

"Uhh, who's that?" A guy with glasses asked, pointing to me.

"Guys, this is Xhex, my girlfriend. I thought you should meet her." Ian answered.

"Wow, Ian's girlfriend!" the girl exclaimed, "Finally beating Anthony to it!"

" 'Bout time." a twiggier looking guy said, sitting behind the girl.

"Well, introduce us!" the third guy said to Ian.

"Right." Ian started, "Well this chick here is Mari." he said, pointing to the girl. Mari. I liked that name. It was cool, and I felt like I would like her a lot.

Ian pointed to the guy with the glasses, "This is Jovenshire." He smiled and waved.

Next, Ian pointed to the twiggier guy, who gave me a small smile, "That's Sohinki."

Lastly, he pointed to the third guy, "And last, yet most definitely least,"

"Hey!" he yelled at Ian. The others giggled at Ian's humor.

"That's Lasercorn."

"It's nice to meet you guys finally!"

I said cheerily, giving them a smile.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Mari said with a small smirk.

"Are you guys ready to play some Just Dance?" Anthony asked.

Multiple "Yes" and "No's" came from everyone.

The camera got set up and we started out with the usual, "Gamebang!"

"Today we have a special guest, this is Xhex," Ian started, pointing to me, "And we're gonna play Just Dance 2014, since you guys decided to request it a lot."

"Yeah, so we've got our hat, where we've put in different songs. At the end, the two losers with the lowest scores are gonna have to do a duet to a song that we'll tell you guys later. Ian, you should go first." Anthony said, grabbing the hat and holding it out to Ian, waiting for him to pick his song.

Within an hour we were done. I had a lot of fun with the gang, and they were cool people. We were sitting around the room, exchanging stories and just having a good time. But then a question came up. A question that I dreaded to answer. Mari spoke, "So, how did you guys meet?" I looked over at Ian, and he looked back at me.

"Can I tell the story?" Ian asked.

"Yeah." I said quietly.

Ian continued to tell them everything, from how he found me on the building, to living together, becoming a couple, and then the topic of my dad showed up. "I am so sorry, Xhex, but what was it that made you suicidal, if you're okay answering that?"

"It's fine." I preceded to go into detail about my dad and his 'decisions', my mom's struggles and death, and my depression. Tears sprang to my eyes.

Mari came over and hugged me. "I am really sorry. I shouldn't have made you say anything."

"It's totally fine, Mari. It was my decision."

I looked up to find sympathetic faces.

"How about we go hang out at our house? Maybe have some fun and try not thinking about this depressive stuff, huh?" Ian suggested as we all got up from our seated positions and walked out the door, heading for our cars.

"Sounds cool." Sohinki answered.

"Yeah, it does. I have to get to know Xhex, anyway." Mari said, looking at me with a smile.

"Alright, see you guys in a few." Anthony said as the three of us piled in the car.

It took about twenty minutes before we reached home, and once I saw who was there I internally groaned. My dad stood on the porch, looking as if he was getting ready to leave. He hadn't turned around yet, so I yelled at Ian, "Ian, my dad's there, keep going, until he leaves!"

"No, Xhex, you agreed to giving him a chance, and you are going to." Ian pulled in the drive.

"But why?!"

"Because he's your dad, now get over there now!" Ian raised his voice, and I knew he was serious.

"...Fine." I gave in after a while. I walked hesitantly to my dad standing on the side walk after finally noticing us pulled in the drive. I stopped and looked at him for awhile. For once, in a long time, I finally stopped to take in his appearance. He stood there with a smile on his face, but his pale blue eyes looked sad. They looked worn and full of regret. His brown hair was still thick, with only a hit of gray, and he looked younger than he could be, pushing sixties, but the looks of only forties. Still in shape, and healthy as could be. I realized then, that I had missed him, no matter what he did, he was still my dad, and I still loved him. I forgave him for his actions a long time ago, but I guess I was still upset. A tear trickled down my face as I saw one did on his face, too. I felt an arm snake around my hip, I wiped the tear away as I looked up to find Ian. I gave him a smile, as well as my father. I looked around to see everyone looking at me and smiling, and that's when I knew it: I had everyone I'd ever need. Right here, right now.

"Hi sweetheart." He said.

"Hi daddy." I walked over and wrapped my arms around him, his arms wrapping around my body.

"I wanted to tell you I love you." I said to him for the first time in a long time.

A/N: Again, I'm extremely sorry about not updating in so long. I've been busy with school but I should be back on track. Thank you for reading!
