Chapter 7.

"Wow, you look great" Jesse says with wide eyes, and I giggle.

"Thanks" I kiss his cheek, getting into his car. He gets in and we drive to the bowling alley, parking close to the entrance. We walk inside, Jesse's hand on the small of my back.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom" I say to Jesse as we walk inside.

"Alright, I'll get the shoes, size?"

"7" I smile, walking to the bathroom, as I walk there, I catch Angie and Austin, with a few other people from our school. Angie placed right on Austin's lap as she runs her hands down his chest. I roll my eyes, and walk into the bathroom, using it and washing my hands quickly.

I walk out of the bathroom, this time Austin seeing me. I pretend to not se him stare at me with a look of shock on his face.

"We're right here" Jesse grins, handing me my shoes.

"Thank you" I smile, taking them from him.

"I hope you don't mind, but I invited Zach and his girlfriend because he was complaining he was lonely" Jesse snorts, and I laugh.

"That's completely fine"

"Cool" He nods, and soon Zach is walking up to us, with his girlfriend.

"Hi, I'm Morgan" She smiles at me, holding out her hand.

"Hi, I'm Tommie" I shake her hand.

"Nice to meet you"

"Likewise" I nod. She and Zach sit down and put their names into the computer while I sit next to Jesse looking over at Austin. Jesse arm wraps around me just as Austin looks over, and I look him up and down, winking at him. His jaw clenched, and I can see him sigh angrily, sitting down next to Angie, never taking his eyes off me.

Just to piss him off further, I kiss along Jesses jaw, Jesse looking down at me with a grin "What are you doing?"

"Nothing" I shake my head, and he chuckles. I look back over at Austin, never having seen him more angry than he is at this very moment. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I pull it out seeing a text from Austin.

From: My BFFL
What the hell do you think you're doing?

To: My BFFL
Having fun, you?

From: My BFFL
You're not funny. This isn't a fucking game Tommie

To: My BFFL
Oops🙊

From: My BFFL
Meet me outside, now.

To: My BFFL
Yeah, because that won't look suspicious

From: My BFFL
Then meet me outside the bathroom. I'm not kidding Tommie

I roll my eyes and slide my phone back into my pocket "I'll be back, I have to wash my hands" I stand up from my seat.

"Okay" Jesse nods, standing up to take his turn in bowling.

"What do you want?" I ask Austin.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm bowling" I shrug, and he grits his teeth.

"You know what I mean"

"And I told you, I'm bowling" I shrug again, and he grabs my wrist tightly "Ow!"

"Tommie I'm not fucking playing games, I know you're here to piss me off"

"Get the hell off of me" I yank my wrist from his grip "You have no reason to do that! You lied to me again! You told me you weren't going to hang out with her but you did anyways, you lied to me and I'm done with your bullshit! How would I be here to piss you off, if I didn't know where you were going?" I growl, and he rolls his eyes.

"If you're done with my bullshit, then I'll leave you the fuck alone"

"Pinky promise?" I ask sarcastically.

"Fuck you" He grits, stomping back to Angie. I walk back to Jesse and sit down next to him, his arm being wrapped around my shoulder.

"You alright?"

"Yeah" I nod, smiling up at him "I'm fine"

"Good" He nods, kissing my cheek. We finish our game of bowling and Jesse and I drive to a restaurant, Zach and Morgan following behind us. We all walk into the restaurant, Jesse sliding his hand into mine. I bite my lip, looking down at our hands before looking back up at him. He smiles, and winks at me when my eyes meet his, the four of us sitting down at the booth.

We talk laugh and eat, until it becomes dark and I want to get home. Jesse drives me home, walking me up to my apartment.

"I'll see you around?" He asks, and I nod.

"Definitely" I say, and he grins. I play with my keys in my hands, hoping he'll get the hint that I want him to kiss me, but disappointment floods me as he gives me one last smile before walking off to the elevator. I open the door to my apartment and walk inside, sighing heavily. Just as I'm about to sit down on the couch, rapid knocking on my door fills my apartment, and I walk to go get it.

"I forgot something" Jesse mumbles, cupping my face and pressing his lips to mine. I smile as he pulls away, biting my lip to keep it from growing "Now I'll see you later"

"Bye Jesse" I wave, shutting the door after walking back into my apartment.

"So you two are dating now?" Austin asks in a huff, walking into my apartment.

"I though you were going to leave me alone" I cross my arms over my chest.

"You know I didn't mean it" He sighs "I was just angry"

"Well, I meant what I said" I stand up "So you should go"

"What? Really?" He asks in surprise.

"Yes really" I nod.

"But Tommie, I don't want to lose you" He frowns.

"You should've thought about that before lying to me" I walk to my door, and open it "Goodbye"

"Fine" He huffs, storming out of my apartment.
