Our tattoo was the same in the beginning but we each added little things to make it more personal to us, though the tattoos clearly match in the other ways.
Chapter 24.
"But Honey, it's been so long since you've been home" My mom sighs "We miss you"
"I miss you guys too, but I'm super busy here, right now" I sort of lie, I was busy, but I wasn't that busy.
"Oh come on, please? You can even bring that boyfriend of yours" She giggles, and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"How do you know about that?"
"Well Dear, when your best friend goes to the same school as you, and he tells his mom stuff, his mom tells me" She explains, and I grit my teeth "But that's beside the point, please come home. Just for a few days"
"Okay, fine" I sigh, and she cheers.
"I'll see you soon" She hangs up the phone. I walk to my room, beginning to pack my things, going to Jesse's about half way through. I knock on his door, and he opens it with a smile, pulling me in for a hug.
"Hi"
"Hey" I walk into his apartment.
"What's up?"
"Well," I begin "My mother invited me to come home for a few days, and my heavens she wanted you to come along as well" I imitate my mothers southern accent, and Jesse laughs.
"That was a cute accent you did just now" He says, smiling widely.
"That's how my mother sounds" I roll my eyes.
"Well, it was adorable" He chuckles, wrapping his arms around me "But to answer your question, that wasn't actually a question, I'd love to go"
"Really?" I ask in a monotone voice, and he nods, smiling widely.
"Yeah, I hope your mom shows me baby pictures" He grins, and I roll my eyes.
"I hope she doesn't"
"When do we leave?"
"Well, let me check" I pull out my phone, going to the airline website "Either today at six, or tomorrow morning at 8" I say "It takes three hours and some minutes to get there, so I say tomorrow at 8 that way we get there by 11 in the morning"
"Okay, I'll pack" He kisses my nose, walking to his room.
"Just meet me at my apartment, I still need to finish packing" I hear him call back 'okay' before I leave his apartment and drive back to mine, finishing my packing. When I'm done, I lay down in bed, turning on a movie, and booking the flight tickets.
After about an hour of laying in bed, I hear my door open, and in walks Jesse, a bright smile on his face. He lays down beside me, after kicking off his shoes, wrapping his arms around my waist and leaning his head on my shoulder.
"Hi"
"Hey" I smile slightly, his hand moving towards mine, our fingers lacing together.
"Do you think your mom is going to hate me?" He asks.
"Probably not, she's a very accepting person, and loves everyone. It's scary sometimes" I laugh slightly "I love her though"
After a while of us laying there, and talking about my mother, we fall asleep. I wake up at seven the next morning. Jesse wrapped all around me, and I untangle him from me to walk to the bathroom.
When I'm done, I walk towards the bed, kissing around Jesse's face to wake him up. He draws in a sharp breath, and wraps his arms around me, pulling me on top of him.
"Good morning" He sighs into my neck and I giggle.
"Morning, it's time to get up"
"Ugh, but I don't wanna" He whines.
"Well, that's too bad" I pout, and he sighs.
"Okay, okay" He sits up, my body moving with him. He kisses me quickly before moving me off of his lap, walking to the bathroom. I change and carry my suitcase towards the front door, Jesse coming down the hallway not too long after me.
"I'm done, ready to go?"

Home Sweet Home. I sigh out as we walk out of the airport, the fresh Texas air, hitting me in the face. We take a cab to my mothers house, and I use my key to unlock the door, seeing as her car isn't here meaning she's at work.
"Mom- woah, you're not mom" My brother Landon says.
"Nice to see you too, kid" I grin, and he rolls his eyes playfully, walking over to me and giving me a hug.
"Hey Sis" He squeezes me tight, and I cough.
"Hey" I smile, and he pulls away, looking behind me at Jesse "This is Jesse, Jesse this is my brother Landon"
"So, this is the boyfriend mom was telling me about" Landon says "Nice to meet you" He holds his hand out for him to shake, and Jesse does.
"Nice to meet you too"
"So, is mom not at work?" I ask.
"No, she took off because you were coming today" He shrugs, and I hear the door knob jiggle. When I turn around, I see my mom walking in, groceries in her hands.
"Tommie!" She yells, dropping everything in her hands and running over to me, squeezing me tight "I missed you so much"
"I missed you too mom" I chuckle, and she pulls away, wiping under her eyes.
"And you must be Jesse" She turns to him, hugging him as well "It's nice to meet you" She says, and he looks taken aback, but hugs her anyways.
"Well, I was going to start some food to have before you got here but I guess I got time mixed up" She places her hands on her hips, shaking her head "Landon, honey, go pick up the groceries" She tells him.
"But mom-"
"Now" She demands, though her voice stays high pitched and soft as usual. From the corner of my eye I see Jesse smile, and he turns to me.
"You're mom is adorable" He mouths, and I roll my eyes, but nod.
"Thank you" She kisses Landon's cheek as he passes her with the grocery bags "The boy gets a girlfriend and forgets what helping mom out is" She rolls her eyes.
"Girlfriend?" I ask.
"Oh yeah, she'll be joining us for dinner later, I invited a few people. A lot of people missed you around here"
