Calum's pov:

I drove away from her house with my blood boiling. How could she do this to me? I haven't dated anyone since us and now she's going on dates with one of my best friends? She's just trying to hurt me more. I hate her. But I can't stop myself from thinking about how beautiful she looked of if it was me she was kissing. I missed the feeling of her lips on mine. I loosened my grip on the steering wheel and my face softened. I hate her but I love her. I couldn't tell Michael that it bothered me because he looked so happy with her. All I want is for him to be happy even if I'm not. I guess that's being a good friend. I paid Luke to cover for the both of us and took a short cut to make it back before Michael. I ran into the building we were having a meeting in. I walked in the room and took a seat next to Luke.

"Where's Michael? They are almost here." Our manager said.

"They?" I questioned.

"We have something to talk about with someone." He looked angry.

That wasn't a good sign. Michael rushed in the room and sat down next to me.

"Where have you been?" He asked.

"I was- um- I-I had to pee." He said.

"For two hours?"

"I'm sorry. I was busy." He stated.

He didn't even want to say he was out with her. I would have said I was. There was a knock at the door and in came Lyndsay and Megann.

"What are they doing here?" I rolled my eyes.

"Hi!" The boys smiled.

They got up and hugged them but I stayed where I was. I watched as Michael hugged her a little longer than the other boys.

"Did you guys not know we were coming?" Lyndsay asked.

"No. He's mad." Ashton whispered.

"Oh." Megann said before sitting down on the couch across from us.

"I brought you here because there is something we need to talk about." Our manager said.

All of us nodded and waited. He threw down a magazine with a close up of me rolling my eyes and a picture beside it of Michael and Megann singing. Michael had his arm around her and they were singing at Luke.

"What's this about Calum?" He asked.

"Um, I don't know." I huffed.

"We-We dated before. It didn't end very well." Megann said just above a whisper.

"God! Do you have to tell everybody about that!?" I yelled at her.

She looked surprised and sad.

"I'm sorry I just thought-"

"About yourself? Like always. Figures." I rolled my eyes.

"Calum I'm-"

"Save it. You only care about yourself Megann." I curt her off again.

"Cal, don't talk to her like that." Michael said.

"Whatever."

"You really shouldn't be mean to her Calum. It was forever ago." Ashton said.

"You gonna take her side too Luke?" I laughed.

"No one is taking any sides. We are friends with both of you. But you need to stop being so mean to her when she's trying to fix it and at least be friends with you." Luke said.

"Look, I don't know what happened and I don't really want to know either. But we do not let it get out that the two of you dated and you have to start acting nice to each other in public. Behind closed doors you can hate each other all you want." Our manager said.

Everyone stayed quiet.

"Now, on another note." He said and threw down another magazine.

This time it had a picture of Michel and Megann hugging back stage and they looked like they were about to kiss. All of this was the night she came to our show and sang with us. I was about to explode. They had kissed before but behind my back.

"Unbelievable." I muttered.

"What now? Huh?" Megann said.

She surprised me with the outburst.

"Nothing. I just figured it was coming." I shrugged.

"If you haven't noticed Calum we aren't together anymore. Yes it's my fault, we all know that. I'm sorry I was only thinking about myself but I've changed. We need to get over it and start acting like friends or we are just going to hurt our friends. Can you accept my apology and just move on? Stop being so hateful to me when all I'm trying to do is make everything okay." She had tears in her eyes and I felt horrible.

I made her want to cry. She really was trying and I was being way to hard on her. I knew she deserved it but deep down I felt really bad.

"Fine. I'm sorry." I said.

"So anyway, you two want to explain this?" Our manager asked.

"Well why I wasn't here is because we were on a date." Michael smiled.

"Okay so let me see if I've got this all right...You dated Megann before and now Michael is dating her?" He asked.

We all nodded.

"Yeah, this can't get out. This isn't to be told to anyone. If you talk about you talk about it when no one else is around. Got it?" He said.

We nodded again.

"Now, I suggest you all sit in here and talk things out for a moment then get out." He said before walking out of the room.

"I'm sorry I've been so hard on you." I said to her.

"It's okay." She nodded.

Michael got up and hugged her.

"So he's saying we can't tell people we are together?" He asked her.

"I guess not." Megann said.

"So it's official?" Luke asked.

They looked at each other and smiled.

"I guess so." Michael laughed.

So it was official. The girl I was madly in love with for so long is now with my best friend. In that moment I felt like my heart was going to fall out of my chest. I wanted to run out of the room. I wanted to jump out the window or something. Anything that would get me out of that room. Everyone began congratulating them as I just sat there. And that's when I realized that no matter what she did, I didn't hate her. I was still madly in love with her and I was going to do everything I could to make her mine again.
