Megann's pov:

Michael and I had been dating for three weeks now and I loved it. He would bring me flowers and food. We would lay in my room on off days and watch movies. It was amazing. Yet a part of me felt bad because I would think about Calum from time to time. He had apologized to me that day and I honestly fell in love with him more because of it. I know what your thinking, Megann?! How could you say that your in love with Calum still while dating Michael?! The answer to that is I'm a crazy person. I love Calum but I need go get over him. He doesn't love me. He never will again. Yes, he's kissed me, yes he's seemed jealous but he's over me. He doesn't want me and Michael does. If I have someone who wants to be with me why should I stay hung up on someone who doesn't love me anymore? I heard a knock at the door from downstairs. I expected it to be Michael but when I opened the door a single rose was laying on my steps. I picked it up and smiled. I looked around for Michael but didn't see him. I ran back to my room and picked up my phone.

"Hi babe." Michael answered.

"I got your rose." I smiled.

"What rose?" He asked.

"Don't play dumb. Where are you? Why didn't you stay?" I laughed.

"Baby, I didn't send you a rose. I'm at home writing with Luke." Michael informed me.

"Oh. Well I got a rose from someone then." I said.

"Maybe it's a crazy fan?" He suggested.

"But why would they run off?" I asked.

"Notice I said crazy." He laughed.

"Okay, well I'll let you get back to writing. I'll see you later." I said.

"Okay. See you then." He replied then hung up.

Shortly after, my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"What are you up to today?" Ashton asked.

"Um, nothing. Why?" I asked.

"Would you want to go eat with me and Cal?" He asked.

"Sure. That sounds fun." I said.

"Okay. We will pick you up in thirty minutes." He said.

"Wait, can I ask why you invited me?" I asked cautiously.

"I figured it would be a good way for me to get to know you better and for you and Calum to make amends." He clarified.

"Alright then. See you soon." I said.

I got ready and by the time I was done they pulled up outside. I ran out and climbed into the back seat.

"Luke called and asked what we were up to. I told him we were going to eat with you and they said they wanted to come. They are finishing up on lyrics then they are meeting us there." Calum said.

"Sounds good to me." I said.

We made small talk on the way there and listened to music. Each of us humming along. I got a text from Michael as we walked in the back of the restaurant saying they would be there soon. When they came in Michael leaned down and kissed my cheek. He sat beside me and put his arm around the back of my chair.

"I see you guys, inviting my girl out to eat without me here. Real cool." He joked.

"We just wanted to hang out with her Michael. I thought this would be a good way for her and Cal to get along better." Ashton said.

"It's a good idea." Luke nodded.

I was looking at Luke as he said that but out of the corner of my eye I could see Calum watching me. When I turned my head he looked back down at his menu. He use to do that when we were together and it would always make me laugh. I smiled at the thought.

"What you you smiling about?" Michael asked.

"Nothing, I'm just happy to have you here." I smiled.

Calum's eyes widened and laid his menu down. I use to say that to him.

"I have to go to the bathroom." He said and left before anyone could say another word.
