Chapter 9
"Cannonbaaaaall!"
A loud voice jarred my out of my peaceful slumber, much to my annoyance. Immediately, my eyes flew open and I quickly rolled to the side, just as Kyle landed on the bed with a big Thump!
"Owww," he rubbed his head as he got up. "That hurt."
"You deserved it." I scowled back, "What the hell are you doing in my room, and how did you get in? I thought I locked it!"
He grinned. "You did. But I have the key."
My mouth dropped open in horror. "Wait, so you slept in my room last night?!"
"Of course not!" He objected, getting off the bed. "Just came in to wake you up."
"Oh. Good." I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "So what time is it?"
"Six."
"Six?" I groaned and flopped back onto the bed. "It's Sunday, for God's sake; No one wakes up at six in the morning. Well, except for you."
"Aw, come on," He came over by my side and nudged my arm. "No need to waste a perfectly good morning!" I refused to budge, so I closed my eyes and pretended to fall asleep. He didn't buy it, though. Kyle leaned over and gently slapped me on the face repeatedly.
"Oh Jayyyy-lahh." he whispered into my ear, making it tickle. "Wakey wakeyyy."
Holy freaking Jesus and all things above, I thought, trying to keep myself from lashing out at the idiot on my bed. Shut up. Suddenly, I felt something wet and cool being shoved into my ear. I leapt up and yelped in surprise, to see Kyle sitting on the bed, grinning with his pinkie finger held up.
"Oh, gross, Kyle! Gross!" I shrieked, wiping my ear on my blanket. "I cannot believe you would-"
"Okay, what is going on here?" Luis' head appeared by the doorway and his eyebrows shot up when he saw Kyle with me. His mouth rounded into a surprised little 'O'.
"Did you-?" He pointed at Kyle, then at me. "Did he sleep in your-"
"No!" I quickly interrupted, a blush rising in my cheeks. "Kyle apparently decided to wake me up at six A.M. by going inside my room, and launching himself at me! And when I refused to wake up he ear-harrassed me, slapped my face repeatedly, and stuck his spit-covered pinkie in my ear!"
"You drama queen." Kyle muttered, scowling.
Luis only shook his head and sighed. "Honestly, you guys are just like the toddlers I used to babysit. Do I have to seperate you kids the hard way, or will you two bring up a truce?"
"Truce." I mumbled, getting up and stretching. I ran my hands through my wild hair and pulled Kyle off the bed. "Out, boys." I told them, shuffling into the bathroom. "Out. Unless you want to watch me shower."
Luis immediately stepped out of the room, while Kyle stayed wearing a smirk on his face.
"I was kidding, you perv!" I waved him out and shut the bathroom door behind me. So my guess was right; living with these two would be interesting. And terribly, horribly hard to endure.
* * * * *
After showering and going down to eat breakfast, we were debating how best to spend a Sunday.
"Let's go outside." Luis suggested.
"No, let's play Truth or Dare!" Kyle said, bouncing up and down.
