Rachel's POV
I was super excited about our assignment this week in Glee. After Dad told Glee about the assignment, Artie wanted to do a different assignment that catered towards guys. That didn't really work since he was the only straight guy in Glee Club. Dad said that if we found more guys to join then he can do a separate assignment. I decided to try to get Finn Sylvester, the Quarterback and most popular guy in school, to join. "Hey Finn." I said, walking up to him. "Are you talking to me?" He asked me. "Um yeah." I told him. "Um hi." He said. "Do I know you?" He asked me. "Um no, I'm Rachel Schuester." I told him, extending my hand. He half-smirked. "Let me guess, you want me to join the Glee Club, don't you?" He asked me. "Yeah." I said. "We need more guy members and we could really use guys like you who has an influence on the students at this school." He shook his head. "No way." He said. "I'll lose my popularity and I'll get laughed at by everyone in the school especially by my football friends." I rolled my eyes. "You're a loser. Deal with it." He said. "No one is going to join your club." He walked off and left me speechless. I couldn't believe he said that. I felt myself fill up with rage. I decided to prove to him that Glee Club was cool.

Rachel:
Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?

Do you ever feel already buried deep six feet under?
Screams but no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you?

You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

'Cause, baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colours burst
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe

You don't have to feel like a wasted space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Maybe a reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow
And when it's time you'll know

You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

'Cause, baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colours burst
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through-ough-ough

'Cause, baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colours burst
Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
(Cut to Choir room where Rachel is standing in front of the Glee Club and had just finished the song)
The choir room filled with applause after I finished my song. "Dad, I know that I was suppose to do a Gaga song but I decided to do this Katy Perry song because I love this song and it is really inspirational." I told him. "Rachel." He said. "Your song choice has given me an idea." I smiled. "I think instead of Gaga week we should do a Katy or Gaga week." He said. "What the hell is that?" Santana asked. "This week you will choose either a Katy or Gaga song to sing. A song choice that symbolizes you or that you want to sing." Dad said. "Great." Santana said, sarcastically. I was super excited about this week's assignment and I couldn't wait to pick out another song to sing.
