Rose Weasley was good friends with Scorpius Malfoy but didn't truly know the boy until she was chosen in third year to spend the annual week in another Hogwarts house (a tradition started by the next Headmaster in hopes of understanding and connection between the houses). It was during this week that she truly got to know who Scorpius was, what he liked, what he disliked, his humor, and strong sarcasm.
