Mary and Francis entered the throne room. Francis looked angered just by looking at Lola. He and Marcus shared the same feeling towards this. On the other hand, Mary gave her a queenly smile.
“Mary, it’s so nice to see you again.” Lola said. “Mary? You lost the right to call her informally.” Francis said almost yelling at her. “Francis. Stop. Please.” Mary said. “Why are you here Lola?” Mary asked. “Your grace,” Lola said it with emphasis and looked at the royals, “I’m here to ask if you would let Colin to be released, I mean, I know that it has to be five years, but I need him now.” Lola said. “How dare you ask that of us! He planned on raping your queen, and you ask for this! Isn’t it enough that you still have your head after everything you’ve done?” Francis said in a firm tone. Mary looked at Francis and held his hand then she spoke. “Why do you need him released?” “I’m dying my queen. I just want to spend the remainder of my life with him.” Then Francis smirk and spoke. “Why don’t you just spend your life with him in the dungeon!” “Francis. Stop.” Mary said and she took a deep breath. “I have no power over that Lola, although I could ask King Henry since he’s here. But, I need proof.” “Proof?” “Yes Lola, proof. I need you to see the court physicians.” Mary then gestured for the guard to call Lady Alyssa, her new lady in waiting. “Lady Alyssa, please escort Lola to the infirmary and have her checked for any disease. Tell them to rule out and consider every possible disease.” With that Lady Alyssa gestured for Lola to follow her. “Mary, why Lady Alyssa, you could’ve called Greer or even Kenna or Aylee, I know those two are not your official Ladies anymore but they’re your friends.” “I know, but in that case, Lady Alyssa won’t be biased.” Mary answered Francis’ dilemma.
